for finder item, select what you want to duplicate, drag n hold down option key. drag to the location you want to duplicate & release.
for iPhoto, select whatever you want to duplicate and right click / control click > Duplicate. |

none of i can remember. only the manual search n delete way.
you acn try Automator. but i bet it wont be accurate. |
