I bought a graphics card from a member in lowyat, good service, he shipped it quite promptly on saturday, so it should arrive on monday. It is now 2pm on monday and I have not seen hair or hide of the parcel. It was sent via poslaju, and according to the tracking number, it was shipped on saturday, and is now in KK, but nobody here has any record of it. I've called the shipping center, they can't find it.

Now whenever I call the two numbers for the kota kinabalu branch, I either get a busy dialtone or it keeps ringing, I'm starting to think that they have caller ID. I've never had a problem with poslaju before, but this is really making me reconsider.

Any advice would be great, I am pretty ticked off already.

this seems to be how they do stuff.. i'm staying in an apartment block where the main entrance to every block requires an access card to be opened.. whenever i order with poslaju, they will usually just leave a cannot deliver slip in the post box with the excuse that the main door cannot be opened.. what kind of an excuse it that?..the guard's post is only 20meters away from the post boxes, they could've asked the guards to open it..ok, even if they can't open the door, the recepient's phone number is on the parcel.. can't they call?.. my housemate even told me once he was coming out thru the main door, and he saw a poslaju guy writing the cannot send slip.. so my friend called him and held the door open.. guess what the posman replied??.. "takpe lah.. dah tulis ni".. n he put the slip in n left..

a few weeks ago when i went to pick up a parcel, i told all this to the woman at the counter.. her excuse was that the postmen don't carry handphones.. but she said she'll tell the posmen to ask the guards to open the door for them.. the next parcel i received at my doorstep smile.gif ...hope it stays that way

i don't see why puasa should be an excuse?.. these guys, say they are atleast 20years old.. that means they have been fast for 1 month of each year for atleast 10 years.. they should've gotten used to it.. shouldn't be an excuse

Pos Laju service varies depending which branch you're in. If unlucky you'll have some lazy bunch handling your parcel. But most of the times, I'm happy with their service, and don't mind using it from time to time again.

p.s Main reason actually, coz post office near my house. Other courier company their office very far from my house tongue.gif

i think it goes down to who sends/delivers where problem.....

if could be dat the postmen delivering your target area was very professional / ethical & smart.

My place just sucked........

i know if mails send to my former office also very fast, registered about 3 days, poslaju next day............ but my new office is hopeless !!!!!

hahaha.... actually my office block is 20 yrs old.... just dat i newly moved in

actually i think its the postman...... i was speaking to some neighbours (an admin office of 4D company & a local political party) they also say poslaju was terribly slow in that particular area !!! I have to admit la the block have terrible parking shortage coz all my clients keep on complaining no parking !!! sometimes I have to tell other courier companies 'kamu tahu itu office [political party] kah ??..... sama block saja itu !!'

on a contrary side, poslaju to my house address damn efficient ! like bombman said 1 day .............. maximum 2 days and that is with appologies from the postman some more !!!!
