just wondering ... last time, we calculated Amex's 5X TreatsPoints to be 2% equivalent-cashback (assuming converting to RM50 service tax).

since GST @ 1st April, there's no more RM50 service tax, and TP inflation @ 1st May.

question is: what is the lowest/practical item for over-the-counter (OTC) redemption?

TreatsPoints PDF catalogue already inclusive postage amount. Most RM50 gift cards are now require 23,040 TPs. But how about OTC redemption? how much TPs needed?

The problem is, he got his application rejected. So during this 6 months cooling off period, any application including pledge is auto reject by the system.

If in the future, my Maybank Ikhwan Plat is approved by them, I will switch back my M2Cards to Visa.

as long as the transaction happen on weekend with AMEX, 5% cashback are  eligible.
however, insurance and government transaction only earn you 2x TP instead of normal 5xTP..

maybe he mistaken this two features.

You can update your mobile phone in M2U but that needs TAC too.

Whether this change will reflect on TAC, I'm not sure.

No actually. I applied for PPL purpose only. I already have Aeon Gold Visa which covers that already but now can sign another person in.

I think not possible to use all in one go.

One at a time. But not sure can use how many time per day for those have limit to enter PPL.

You cannot used up all the complimentary access in 1 go. For example, if you have 4x quota, you cannot sign 4x at the same time. However, you may swipe again at a different PPL. Anyway, out of topic dy as M2C does not grant any access.

What I noticed from the cForum there, a person who come from MBB (credit card department) and said:

yes, you can do that with multiple card. you can only do that within Malaysia where PPL not so strict..
if oversea, not allow to use multiple card with same name at one time. they do check boarding pass.
yes, you can pledge 2k FD if you have existing 28k cc credit limit with MBB

Anyone know how much amount of the temporary increase limit of the card? I heard my friend said it's average 10% of the credit limit and must be with funeral,hospitality,travel as excuse. -__-

Can someone explain how to pay car insurance through Tokio Marine with Amex on weekends?  I called their branches but they said only VISA or MASTER accepted.  They only open from Monday to Friday.

I'm afraid you are not able to pay Tokio Marine car motor insurance from Maybank2u. It is for Tokio Marine Life (life insurance etc) only.

I got my amex plat approved but not yet collect yet.
