Prepaid sometimes I saw the R as well but no charge so fari just MNP from maxshit noted that at my working place there is no umobile coverage (although website says otherwise) hence the is big G adjacent to the signal line and small R on top of it i assume it mean roaming is this roaming on maxshit? if i try to call it give me roaming warning i scared shocking bill will follow kindly advice sifus |

Been using Umobile about 2 months and found out that their 3G data network not so good even in Klang Valley. There is no issue on my friends LTE and also 2G network (edge) on my phone. Unfortunately my phone don't support LTE, so I have to always disable 3G in order to use internet in 2G mode.Thinking of switch to others network. |

QUOTE(brutus @ Feb 1 2016, 12:14 PM) Depending on your location. I have been on U Mobile since July 2015, MNP from Maxis. Hope the Umobile can solve the poorer data issue. BTW, too bad they don't offer credit transfer for prepaid like Maxis and DigiI am not really missing anything except poorer data indoor coverage (which I can live with it). Otherwise, I am saving a lot of $$$$! |

QUOTE(nexona88 @ Feb 3 2016, 06:05 PM) U Mobile Sdn Bhd aims to grow its postpaid subscription business, which is about 10% of its total subscribers now, to be on par with the industry average of 20%. That's mean more offer is coming for UMobile postpaid U mobile chief marketing officer Jasmine Lee said the company is looking at a balance of 80:20 between prepaid subscribers and postpaid subscribers, the industry ratio. "Prepaid users will continue to drive the Malaysian market. The whole industry is at 80:20, which is a healthy balance, U Mobile is looking at this," she told reporters at the sidelines of a partnership signing ceremony with Sedania Innovator Bhd. She noted that the postpaid services offered last year received good response as its postpaid subscriber base has doubled. The telecommunications company (telco) currently has 4 million subscribers, of which 90% are prepaid users. http://www.theedgemarkets.com/my/article/u...?type=Corporate |

QUOTE(ace-user @ Feb 6 2016, 01:35 PM) Yup I have 3GB for December, January and February (UMI25 1gb + 1gb free + power prepaid plan free 1gb) To be exact, you will get 3.2GB total (another 200MB when you top up rm30) So for March I will only get 2GB? (UMI25 1GB + power prepaid plan 1gb) Is this correct? I'm really enjoying the rates ATM, RM25 for 3GB is so worth it haha. |

QUOTE(schok @ Feb 6 2016, 11:57 AM) Hi guys. Sorry barge in, hows umobile coverage in klang valley area nowadays? Thinking if changing from maxis to the hero post paid plan. Noticed the coverage in their website looks pretty good. Wondering how is the real world performance. If you using LTE then should be fast. If 3G indoor terribly slow and not stable for the moment. |
