Mazda 2 Sedan Soul Red

Booked end of last month... HP Loan approved yesterday... Hoping to get it before end July... Finger crossed.

I understand shouldn't be seg vs seg. But from what I got is the flunce 5yr vs m2 3yr. And the flunce having 15k rebate. That's why I take in to consideration. After rebate all thing, its around 95k. So, its comparable. You see I don't compare civic rite. Even I want the new civic so much! But, as I mention earlier, space isn't my 1st priority. Its 4th. So, I will never ditch M2 because of that.
I ruled out vios liao. I try to rule out city also because of the airbag, cvt and batt problem, but people telling me its a good car. and massive on the road (actually making SC congested also).

Mind taking pic of yours interior. I want to know got HUD or not. because AU version got 3 variant... MY unit I not so sure. As I mentioned earlier I can afford fluence, but I may not afford to run it. So yea.

Will test drive city m2 and fluence. I rule out attrage ad. too old.
How much yopu buy? and is it LED?

My personal opinion is all Toyota and Honda interior not nice, don't have the "feel" haha.

I was going for HB initially with conservative color choice of Metro Gray or Alum Metallic. Knowing full well bout the specs, I finally visited the showroom back in April when they intro'ed the LED headlamp but was taken aback by the boot space. Fell in love with Soul Red, settled for a Sedan. Though must say, the HB looks great and nimbler drive. Wish you luck in getting your new ride in a week's time. (it's almost mid July)
Yes, it's LED... Soul Red quoted @ RM94.1k... A good friend of mine in KL is helping out in all the process (booking,HP loan, etc) as I reside in ulu-ulu town. Not sure yet if rebate will come in cash or other perks. Come end of July or early August, then I will know if I got a bargain or got conned Anyway the SA @ Glenmarie did inform that Halogen light model 2016 still available @ around 88k as there are still demand.

I first decided to get a new ride in April... And Mazda 2 had been on my radar even since the concept was shown way back in 2014. Was looking forward for a Mazda 3 Facelift, thank God I didn't wait (the just leaked facelifted 3 was subtle). Final choice was between a Fiesta 1.0 Ecoboost and Mazda 2. Never even considered Vios (repackaged tech), City or Jazz (CVT is just not my cup of coffee) or VW Vento (their gearbox issue still haunts me). Then Ford announced New Fiesta coming in 2017, not gonna wait. Booked Mazda at end June...

Paling oenting pergi test drive... Masa test ...test kaw kaw...

My only test drive was on a Sunday around Glenmarie. Whenever I test the downshifts with the paddle-shift or put my foot down on the accelerator, the SA 'softly' warned me not to overdo it. 

I have to agree, the golf club section can really test out the handling... Since it was my first time in that area, just had a smooth drive.

Nope... My order was placed via dealership, with the help of a good friend. Projected delivery by end July or early August. No news from them for now, my requirement is very simple: a new drive by end August.
Hope you will get more positive feedback from them.
Thus far, I have yet to get any news on perks or discount from my friend yet, my Sales Order quoted full price. Gonna choose my preferred window tint shop, as I never trusted SA to oversee that. Still, you can ask for cash discount at least 1k or more, free window tint, coating voucher, free smart tag and perhaps even a full tank of petrol. Depends on the SA... Best of luck, mate.
