so i changed my mind booked from sitiawan...

don't waste your time on changing coins, just get your car within 4 months and show them... haha
my friend ask ipoh mazda for rebate, they only give 2k for cx-5... so my friend booked from kl, 8k rebate...

Try other dealer, since you are orang KL, buy in KL and visit your family at the same time too. Do coating and tint one day or two, then drive back up Ipoh. You can do service in any Mazda SC so long you have the service voucher embedded in the service book. The SC will tear out one for every free service. It is not dealer SC specific. Cheers!

Anyway most importantly is the SE who is assisting you in getting your car. Sometimes paying a few hundred more but could get you a peace of mind.. Should be worth it right?

You should book now and wait till that period.
Cause Mazda 2 also come with waiting list.

Scenario :

You book now with no Promotion, then say after 2 month your car arrived. And on-current there's promotion for Mazda 2 of RM1,000 you are also entitled for it.

Scenario 2 :

Promotion RM1,000 (Raya) you book now, but after Raya only then your car arrived. You might not entitle for the previous Raya Promotion (case by case)

So my advice book first and wait~~ since most dealer or branches practice full refund.

I see our battery requires maintenance, add battery water into the battery. It's been long I use a maintenance battery. How long do you check the battery level, and how much to add? I saw some car after lift bonnet saw corrosion at the bonnet area directly above the battery. Is it too hot and battery acid squirt out?

I asked the SC today, the person said normally battery need to change every year. Maybe the owner didn't maintain the battery properly?

I know but turbo charged cars generally runs hotter than NA car. Only high compression NA car like Mazda run hotter than normal NA car as far as I know. But I guess it's a new heat management feature. 
Hazumi is the Mazda concept car that inspired the design of Mazda 2. Something like Proton Tuah, Jebat, Emas, etc...
"wet battery" generally can last 2-3 years if properly maintained. "Dry battery" can barely last 1 year and can suffer sudden death and needs immediate replacement. From my personal experience.

I suspect Mazda SC do not refill your battery, and being wet battery without proper maintenance, you only get 1 year lifespan when the plates holder were eaten away at the top and the whole cell is out of action.

So, top up your battery fluids guys and girls, once every two/three weeks perhaps. Best time to do it is after you drive around town for at least 30 min, then when you back home, let it rest for 10 min, pop the hood up and use a torchlight to look at the battery water level. Each cell has its own cap, so check each cell. Top up the water until it reaches slightly below the upper limit (to prevent battery squirting). Top up only with distilled battery water (never use tap water), you can buy at DIY shops/petrol stations. Just ask for battery water and they will know. The cap is like an 'L' shape to ease putting it into the battery hole, you need to press intermittently so the water will come out. Cheers!
