QUOTE(singk @ Apr 12 2015, 03:01 PM)
putting lube fluid onto brakes (itself a friction item) is suicide.
*
QUOTE(RicoT @ Apr 12 2015, 03:08 PM)
No, it is not a good idea, never put lubricant onto the disc brakes!  ohmy.gif

It may help with the rust, but your brakes is the one that stop your car. WD-40 is also a lubricant.

Leave the brakes be.  blush.gif
*
i saw the rust came out from the front ventilated disc brakes' core element, WD-40 can remove the rust, but not apply on the surface of disc brakes

QUOTE(GNR @ Apr 13 2015, 11:08 AM)
I thought wax does the same job as coating just that wax needs to be reapplied every 2 - 3 months.

Heard that bird droppings will "eat" into coatings, unless you wash it off straight away. You will then have to apply the coat over that area again, which is not cheap.

With this limited understanding in mind, I've decided to wax instead of coat
*
same with u, waxing instead of coating

I am interested with M2.
Just would like to understand more of the aspect such as resale value, maintenance cost and other.
Need to know whether worth to buy.
I try Vios and City is a bit plastic.
*
have you tested M2?
if u look for resale value, M2 is not for u

sorry mouse double click glitch, double post. anyway i edit this post.

little-sama. it would be nice the mention summary of m2 problem in the front page.

- back fender not well welding
- below car not well welding
- tire hard to find
- no space for handphone
- rain noise
*
rear wheel fender welding is the defect
i dont think uneven underneath welding is defect, or the engineer purposely weld the car this way for better body strength

QUOTE(little-sama @ Apr 15 2015, 02:47 PM)
After out of port klang, still need to go through PDI. After that need 1-2 days for Puspakom. Then only you can get your car. So estimate May
*
according to the ap document, from the date my car reached port klang until customs clearance is taken about a month, then need to wait for the batch shipment from port to showroom, PDI, Puspakom, & JPJ

Har? Normal? I think it's a defect because some cars got some cars don't have. Unless you're saying that all M2 has that sound, then yes it's "normal", although to me it will still sound like a defect. It's annoying when you have all these sounds coming from inside your car.
*
i dont hear that tic tac sound from the driver side air-cond vent...
but some annoying sound from the dashboard when the poor road condition, i suspect the sound came from the HUD there

Dude check the area above you near the front ceiling light switch area which is near your rear mirror. Press up on around that area and see, because I have sounds coming from there which I initially thought was from my hud there. When I apply some pressure above, the sound stops which means the sound is coming from there
