Asian version ~USD40 with one-month Gold subscription and Uno full game.

US version ~USD70+ with one-year Gold subscription, headset + game (dunno what game).

That's what my retailer told me.

No built in mic, coz on 360 you use the headset to communicate. You probably have to use a mic on your PC as well.

heheh Digitalpixel, where have you been?? anyway, this camera is just 1.3MP, and IMHO it does pretty well, considering the affordable price and what you can do with it. And NO it doesn't have mic on it.

one more thing.... how is the image quality? what i am interested to know is how much light does it need to operate? the philips web cam im using now can work with no lights on (the monitor output shining off ur face is enough)

hmm.. I dont know the quality of your philips webcam. But if you ask me personaly, i've been using live vision through msn live messenger via webcam with my friend, and i can tell you Live vision resolution & quality is much clearer, but overall not the best. The ring of light on the camera doesn't shine your face like any other webcam. As long you have enough light in your room, you wont have any problem with it, in fact even in a low light room, it'll automatically adjust the lighting, of course you'll start to notice noises/grains (not so obvious). The bottom line, i'm still impressed by this camera without any regrets biggrin.gif

no no, my philips webcam doesn't have a spotlight to light up my face.. i was talking bout the pc monitor, just for comparison. anyway, thanks for the feedback thumbup.gif . my friend picked one up for me in SG for S$64.90, hope it works great in my living room at night...

its designed for the XB360. XB Live uses the headset plugged into the controller, and it's included in the package. IMO, having an internal mic would be problematic because in most setups, the camera would be placed near the tv and gamer would be around 1-2 metres away on the couch or something. the headset is much more practical.

need mic for pc? i'd say go for headphone+mic by Logitech, or go with Sonic Gear for cuz it's slightly cheaper

The good thing about having a surviellance cam at home is that I can see that the box containing my Vision Camera has arrived.

The bad thing about having a surviellance cam at home is that I can see that the box containing my Vision Camera has arrived but I can't play with it!!!!!

The pain!!!
