If you guys noticed, the "iPhone 6 - Bigger than Bigger" billboards located along major freeways have been changed to show the beautiful images taken by the said phone (and also available on Apple's website)? Well, an idea then sprouted in my head, haha!

I noticed that while there's a dedicated thread on the iPhone 6 here in LYN, there is none for the images that we can shoot on our trusty phones. So why not come up with such a sub-forum, since many of us use our iPhones to take amazingly crisp shots anyway!

So let me get the ball rolling and post this photo I took of Shanghai's famous trio of super-tall towers over in Pudong, when I was there last week!

Yeah, that's why I purposely placed it here in the iPhone forum instead!

My photos are all taken using the stock "Camera" app, by the way, even if I have Camera+ installed in the iPhone 6.

And this is one I took of the morning sun today, from the window of the master bedroom in my condo!

Yeah, that's where Camera+ comes into the picture. I can try doing that later, when I'm a bit more free at lunch!

Nope, I didn't. It was shot using "standard" mode actually!

And this is how my nighttime photo of the three Shanghai super-tall buildings looks like!


It may not be as crisp and clear as the daytime ones, but still, that's a massive improvement against the camera of the iPod touch and iPhone 5 (my two most recent former iOS devices)!

Yup, taken from the skylight roof of my brother's car!

And remember I had one of a sunset in Hangzhou? Well, since some of you want more "local" photos, this is one taken during the early morning hour from my condo window - and as you can see, I live in Kelana Jaya!

Now this is what I call a really amazing smartphone camera (better than any digital camera I used previously) - look at how crisp and clear the image of my four Star Wars spaceships are, when taken with the  iPhone 6!

And they are miniatures, by the way, displayed at the dashboard of my wheels!
