as far as I know, currently only Sabah has the yearly classic strongman competition as I am from Sabah as well

because you can train powerlifting anywhere as long as gym consist power rack but where can you find those facility for strongman training?

strongman gym in malaysia, very hard to find

oly lifting gym in malaysia, even harder god damn

strange enough, in the small town that I lived here in Ranau with less than 100k population, there is one oly lifting gym, but its gov own to train the elite lifter, not open for public

i know that one, saw it in kirksman video, they are lifting in some kind of abandoned or old style classroom that one ?

not pretty sure if there is another training room for that, the one I saw is kinda small room, next to pejabat belia dan sukan in my daerah but now they renovate it already.

are into strongman/power lifting?

nice, I am more into strongman cuz I FOR ME its boring just doing 3 lifts...lol

strongman event is lots more fun and unpredictable. join once in a small district competition, did flipping tires, atlas stone, dealift big tire and pulling 4WD for time.

but since no equipment to train, so I also incorporate power lifting training in the gym to develop raw strength

strongman gym very hard to find in malaysia la

most of the equipment need to custom made, and this sport is not that popular, the gym cannot make money

but yeah is more fun to flip tyres, throw kegs, atlas stone, and barrel over head press and sort
