Hi, if i were to compare adidas and nike training shoes, which is better? I quite like this shoe, Adidas Crazytrain Pro 3.0 but i've no idea if it is suitable for weight trainings and light cardio in the gym.

If you are not doing heavy deadlifts and squats, crazytrain should be ok. Not sure how boost is on gym/training shoe.

It depends on the mood that day, sometimes i do heavy weights. My current Nike shoe feels too hard for the gym and it's quite old too.

Training shoes with stiff soles wont be good for cardio. I tried repper dsx on treadmill and felt like they are banging lol. However for occasional sprinting is ok. Dsx flyknit is a lot more but i feel im getting movement in the fronts - a bit soft for heavy lifts. You should be fine with crazytrain however i cant comment on the boost sole. Try before you buy.

Came across Adidas Alphabounce Beyond, what about this?

alphabounce is geared towards running. maybe you want to look at nike free x metcon. it's a hybrid shoes.
