Yep. Actually had a long hard deliberation down in LYP when I was getting it - N3 or N4. In the end the specs were too close (the additions were... not that tempting) and the N4 isn't *really* 64bit either (and nah, Sammy isn't gonna enable 64bit simply due to half the N4 population being on 32bit Snap) so I'll settle with the N3 for now.

After all, all I *really* needed an upgrade on from the N2 was the 3GB RAM and 32GB internal (or 64, but I couldn't find anyone selling a 64GB SME N3 anywhere).

So, slightly slower and less packed.... but like you said, still a great "Last Season Flagship". I wonder if it'll get the M update though.

A bonus is the N3 is prolly the most compact Note Sammy has ever made, even next to the N4 (which is as big and even heavier than my N2 lol). Which is great in my book.

Hopefully the next Ns don't go the GS6 way though - aka sans removable batt and SD card. Sure there's pros to that approach but I don't buy Notes to get OnePlusOnes lol.

Liking the power and design of the Note 5 other than the non-removable batt and lack of microSD slot, but anyway no budget to spend so much for a phone.

My Note 3 with 64GB microSD and 8600mah batt and custom back cover still serving me well, perhaps I'll move to the Note 4 for a better camera experience (front and back) if prices come down significantly for last year's model.

There is a "optimiser" update few days ago. I'm not sure how it works but I think this thing is making my whatsapp to "sleep" if I do not touch the phone for a long time.

Bro .... I initially didn't want to comment cuz if you are familiar with the Xposed framework, you would keep up with updates or at least even google first. The Xposed framework now even supports Android 6.0 Marshmallow.. Wanam support for Samsung Lollipop was announced since like June earlier this year.

but i won't use it without a case. 

they list it as 4g 9005 version,

all those claimed new imported/ap set are all refurbished set.

sure it is not fake/clone, but they have changed all the casing, back cover etc
what ever needs to be changed to get make it look new.

u can even buy the note3 empty box from taobao...
all the spare parts are available there...
