1) software : if u likes the feel that phone always receive update , then miui no doubt, emui update not so frequent, rarely update , but will getting 5.1 soon for the next few months. last time i take the redmi 1s & redmi note. feel excited when receive update every few weeks. i feel like this phone the manufacturing are still look after. this makes me has the secure feel. but end up some of the update actually bring more bugs the function. the most redmi 1s ppl facing is the sms issue where u cant reply the sender, but hv to create new message and sent... this kind of update i rather don want. as for honor, emui so far didnt gv me any bugging issue, i think emui is more simplified in setting then miui, and more stable. so software side is up to you.
Battery :  so far, mi4i got slight better battery then honor 6. this 1 for my case is i setup all social apps in honor but i yet to setup any social apps in mi4i yet. once i setup all the same number of apps and account then we can see more clearly.

screen :  this 1 mi4i win liao... specially direct under the sunlight.

camera :  this my personal favorite still with honor 6, faster respond vs mi4i

phone speed : honor 6 win all the way. mi4i u put performance mode also lag.

heat issue : mi4i heat is vy bad compare to honor 6. vy bad. some ppl can accept that level of heat but so far this is the hottest phone i ever touch. i surf net in wifi mode only for 15 min mi4i already heat up below the camera area. when u use the finger to swipe the page from middle to top, like u want to see the webpage content , once you touch the screen near the camera area, my god, the heat ......  i just hope the new firmware from miui will settle this.

signal in wifi  / 4G : honor / huawei still the leading in this, thats their key area.

for me, i will keep my honor 6 and sell the mi4i for the next few months. honor 6 is just so good for me. i think if u can get a used set honor 6 in good consider and still under 1 to 1 warranty period, i would advise you go get 1. new set selling below 900, used set should b cheaper a lot.

the only reason for me to get mi4i, just because it is my 1st 64-bits hp and i would to see how it is.

nilkin slim armor, nice and have a different unique look.

only issue is kinda easy in collecting dust.

emui 3.0 camera settings are very simple, no night mode.

Photo quality is good, just focus speed and shutter speed a little slow. Able to do burst shot then choose the best photo.

For normal photo snapping, I still prefer third party camera apps, but can't optimise for dual camera...

App center need install through PC, plug in USB and run HiSuite setup.
