QUOTE(fkinmeng @ Mar 31 2015, 12:48 PM) yea, stock, sometimes create custom font using ifonts. this app is useful cus it will convert custom .ttf font to .hwt format. u can directly change font using emui theme manager.dev rom = font changing straight away without reboot stable rom = font changing need reboot |

QUOTE(drakzero @ Apr 12 2015, 03:38 PM) Anyone know if I can send my unit for a replacement for delayed notification issue? Notifications from Whatsapp and FB messenger is always delayed. I did all the essentials: i don't have any issue with those apps. try set "trust this application".1. Normal power saving mode 2. Set to notify in notification setting 3. Protect those apps 4. Set mobile data to "always on" I still experience delays up to half an hour or more. Think I can send my unit for replacement? |

QUOTE(drakzero @ Apr 12 2015, 11:09 PM) Yep, I upgraded to emui 3.0. That's when I start experiencing the notification delay as well. I guess that's the main culprit. I've no intention to root my phone and flash new roms so I guess I'll just wait for official update. Or mayber I can just factory reset it back to emui 2.3 factory reset doesnt revert to previous version. u need to downgrade |

QUOTE(chaosneo @ Apr 21 2015, 01:08 PM) i am not sure how to answer you... too complicated. u might also suffer scratch on side panel after removing the casing. that's why i use silicone/rubber case.anyway, ordered yesterday and arrived today from Kuantan. wow it feels like a tank after putting my phone inside. - the casing is heavier than the phone. - should have gotten black. i think it looks damn nice with black. - inside is padded but the danger part is when sliding in/out of the casing. - no reception loss though as comparing outside vs inside casing. - no chance to test wifi / 3G reception yet. - feels shockproof though but no intention to test this feature. - the top part feels lacking though. - the phone doesn't move inside which is good. - buttons inside are padded so it doesn't scratch the phone. - you will need a screen protector for the back as well. seriously recommended. - you might need to forget about one hand operation as this casing is quite bulky. after putting on this casing, it feels like using a galaxy note size. [attachmentid=4420447] [attachmentid=4420449] you can use this to smack people head hahaha... |

im using 4G honor 6 plus, battery can last 30hours in normal usage. apps that run in background including whatsapp, hike, launcher, tasker, widgetlocker, minimalistictext and screenstandby.
tasker really save me alot cus i only enable autosync periodically or when opening contacts and email. gps on only in maps and waze, other location setting using network which consider quite accurate. |
