there are actually 1001 tricks to mini 4wd. you'll just have to think about it. i can go on talking about it the whole night long. you can even improve the drivetrain of the mini 4wd (lighten and smoothen all rotating parts), improve electrical conductivity of the car, improve rigidity of car with use of bumpers and ice-cream stick( thats what we call that last time rclxub.gif ). even different bodyshells have different effects. there is no such thing as this is the best setup and everybody have to follow.

there are also many tricks to slow down the car just before the jump. you can set front and rear rollers + rear skid brake pads very low so that right before the jump the tires are not with contact with the track at all thus slowing the car for the jump.

actually i using a variation on that method tongue.gif

you can hold the blade to it or use about 800 grid sandpaper while car is running. dont use your racing motor though, it will create load and burn out your motor.

@sasaug

those are my collections will try to post some pics of my racing cars...

i'm using a fm chassis on a technical course race

set up

fm chassis
strato vector
9mm bearing in front
19mm aero spoke in the middle
brake set

22mm tire diameter
hyper 2 motor

speed checker - 15kph

if the track set up consist of jump, turn or even table top or bank approach this set up can easily finish the race.
