my myvi front tyres are pretty bald already but rear still seems to be in good shape. Thinking of changing just the front pair. Is it ok to get slightly wider tires, 185/60/r14? Any adverse effects? Stock myvi is 175/65/r14. So tire height will be a little lower. oops wrong thread .. but my intention is in getting the j5.. This post has been edited by layzieboy: Nov 30 2015, 09:59 AM

QUOTE(halcyon27 @ Nov 30 2015, 10:21 AM) Going wider gains stability at the price on fuel economy. It'll wipe out 3-5km/l. I suggest to retain width. Don't know if Myvi or these tyres goes with 165/70R14 but I'll say that's pushing the envelope on road handling. its from 175/65 to 185/60, not 165/70. So much difference on fuel comsumption ?
