I just changed my stock silverstones 195/55/15 (6k mileage) to j5 195/60/15. Immediate difference is theyre quieter. Cornering is abit weird. Feels like rubbery at the start of a corner. Probably because of the thicker sidewall.
Pressured at 32psi using N2.

bought them for 180/piece. Totaled RM664.20 after trading in stock tyres (rm100), inc balancing, N2 and alignment.

Bought my j5 2 months back. Mileage around 2000km. Is this type of wear normal? Seems like bad composition design to me.

Looks like a softer compound.
Did you hoon around?
Are you satisfied with the grip, comfort and noise?
If yes, it's normal.

You're probably just used to those hard eco tyres.

Yeah I suppose the wear for softer compound tyre is like this. I attack corner in full speed without much braking. Full confident with them. Haven't tried emergency stop yet. Previous tyres (silverstone m5) made my car skidded.
Noise wise, better than m5. Abit bouncy haha.. Less road feedback on potholes etc

Both inner and outer sides the same thing. Front and back. I think cause I go fast around corners. Picture was taken on LPT, after Karak highway...
