KFC upgraded all their terminals in store to the white RHB one.
So can no longer use Apple Pay, must use card directly for AMEX.

Unless someone has a solution for when some terminals asks for pin if you use Apple Pay

If anyone is planning to use KTM, you can use Amex by buying your tickets online or via their app. (Have not tried buying it IRL at the counter or tapping at the machines to enter)
And when you're choosing what payment method to use, do not choose credit/international card, but choose debit card/ATM.
Choosing credit brings out the Fiuu/Razer payment page (Amex not accepted), while choosing debit brings out Maybank's check out page.
Then just enter your card details as usual and check out

Should be, same as topping up at TnG NU Sentral or LRT stations directly (I think).
Some stations also seem to accept Amex at the counter and self-service stations, but I haven't tried it out yet.

Not FPX. If worried can still use DuitNowQR to pay using SPL.
Also didn't buy it, only remembered about this after using KTM. Will try out another time soon!

Still using UOB Terminal but accepts AMEX no problem. Paid via Apple Pay

Can try using POS PAM or can try to pay it on Pos Online.
Choose to pay via SPL and then pay that off using your Amex

So my local Billion (Supermarket and Departmental Store) might start removing their Maybank terminals.

Previously was all Maybank terminals. Now it's 1/2 counters using AmBank and 1/2 counters using Maybank.
Tried to use Amex on AmBank and payment was rejected. For now can still use Maybank counters, but not sure for how long.

Hopefully they'd enable it again soon tho. This is some of the only places to shop here for cheap prices

Accepts AMEX: Aeon Self checkout
Recently went to Aeon and it seems they've updated their Aeon terminals at the self checkout to accept Amex.
Used Apple Pay, had no issues
Cashier and food/bakery tills are still using Maybank terminals.

I thought for Giant/Mercato if you mention Amex, they'd bring out the AmBank terminal?

1. I've bought it from Amazon India before, but with the FX rate I think you'd be losing out 2-3% per card purchase.

You can also use SEAGM and pay using SPL the paying that off using Amex but still you're going to be paying 1.5% extra on your gift card.

I've just resorted to just buying games On Green Man Gaming (can use Amex) first, but if they don't have then just give up and buy directly from Steam using another card hahaha.

Not accepting AMEX anymore: MyNews (at least in Seremban Gateway)
Using Affin Bank terminal, so they no longer accept Amex.

Some like in Cyberjaya is using HBL terminal, and those accept Amex (even have sticker about it)

Finally, hopefully can use it at Pavilion as well.

They first used UOB terminal and it failed, then when they noticed AMEX they took out Maybank terminal instead.

Some counters have brought back the Maybank terminal and kept the AmBank one in plastic (for some reason).
But yes, I think they're just waiting for the contract to end then maybe get rid of it.

Unfortunately the debit card option (maybank website) is no longer available
So no more Amex payment here. Not sure if still can pay using Amex when at the station counter itself.

Also found out Maybank updated places that accepted Amex (probably released late 2024 early 2025 as thats when Uncle Roger opened his store)

Pretty much anything ISETAN accepts Amex.

Minor update but went to Cold Storage KLCC today. Still mainly using Affin Bank terminal but if you mention Amex they'll bring out AmBank terminal.
Also, they still seem to have a few of them around and share them between tills in the store

If not mistaken all Nasi Kandar Pelita have Maybank terminals. Have been to a few branches around and all accept Amex

Yep. This wasn't the first Cold Storage that I've went that accepted Amex.
For Giant, did you use Apple Pay? I know some terminals are buggy with Amex via AP sometimes but works fine with physical card.

Rather surprised to see an Ai-Cha with Maybank terminal. I've only seen Public Bank terminals or just QR so far.

Yes, still works, just used it a few days ago.
They are using CIMB black terminal iirc.
Even tried it at their self-checkout counters at another branch a few weeks ago, also works.

Paid via Apple Pay, still shows up as Tesco as the merchant's name xD

Sometimes they just combine the AMEX receipt with other processor's receipt. At least that's what I saw at a few places.

Curious if anyone had this issue before.
You make payment with Amex; payment verified and went through.
But the cashier saw the payment and voided it, saying they don't take Amex even though the payment went through.

Once was at a Chez Choux and another at Pathlab. Both had Maybank machines.
