U GOT MY PM ..THANKS FOR YOUR INTEREST.

Added on November 23, 2007, 9:51 pm
QUOTE(andyjyneo @ Nov 20 2007, 09:59 PM)
bro, i want to ask you something
if my original car is single exhaust and i wanted to convert it to double exhaust (both working and not tarik from the original pipe), will it consume more petrol? any performance difference?
*
Bro, yes the petrol will be more consuming as for this kind of setup which usually the twin system leads from the center part. This type of twin exhaust system doesn't match for all NA cars becoz' it might causes power loss.

In term of performance, if for a highly modified street car, this system definitely will free some horsies and make u feel more powerful with the car at higher rpm powerband. Else, if you're on a stock car, you might felt that your car is choking in the sense of the car jerking when accelerating from stand still.

Anything u can call right away to understand better. (provided when im free, sorry been sick for sometime sad.gif )

2. MYVI 1.3cc AUTOMATIC - Twin Exhaust System

Thanks to Nick. First of all, like I've told Nick, it is so coincident to take his car exhaust system that is fully

installed by us. (Well, he is not white rat becoz a lot will install part by part and is difficult to write a little blog

here) Here it is:

Everything is done for this moment when this pic is taken. Doing high-rev warm up for new extractors.

Sensor is shifted to the new extractor and also, comparing with the stock and the custom-made 4-1. The engine is waiting for

a new extractor to be put in place.

The extractor is fitted in nicely with the sensor plugged back to its original socket. The connection of the 4-1 at the

bottom is well bolted back.

A recommended swirling bullet for backpressure effect (improves auto tranny's pick up power).

Lastly, everything is done and all are in place.

afta a few days of driving, feel improve performance at mid-high range...pick up at low range got minimal

impact though...but overall the gear transmission is much more smoother & the exhaust sounds more firmer now...happy.gif

Thanks for the comment smile.gif

Heard must cut the bottom spare tyre compartment? can u gimme few choices to do it as well. Most importantly is NO performance drop. Increase then ok le hehe tongue.gif If u mention just do a cosmetic mod then see how much is the price diff first between just putting a fake exhaust tip and putting a functional twin exhaust.

Thanks bro much appreciated smile.gif

Hey bro, first of all, thanks for your interest. Twin exhaust system has few types:

1. Better performance, both exhaust working
2. Better performance, one dummy and another working
3. Better performance, both dummies
4. No performance effect, both exhaust working
5. No performance effect, one dummy
6. No performance effect, both dummies

The cheapest of course is one working and one dummy. About RM200 only for normal tailpipe(stainless steel,round/square one).
