Firstly and foremost, some company directly advertise at Jobstreet in order to get more candidates to apply and filter.

I applied for my position in Big 4 from Jobstreet and I did get a callback within few days compared to directly applying to the website itself.

Degree holder is around 2,5 if I am not mistaken.

Brush up on your English, be more presentable and I'm sure you can get a job soon.

Good luck for your hunt then  laugh.gif

Big company has CSR. Does not matter if you are a degree holder with 1st class or whatever, as long as you got it from a normal university, your pay would be at that level and that level alone.

I attend the interview but did not commit myself to any big 4 yet as I am still enjoying my current work and pay.

Personally, I think CPA Aussie is nothing special. It's pretty easy and most people can get it anyways.

I'd rather go for ICAEW if I have the chance. But too bad la, the time for studying is over for me laugh.gif

Then you draw your own conclusion based on that lo tongue.gif

Big companies usually sponsor their staffs to do professional papers.

Try to ask and see if you are lucky enough to be sponsored?

It seems that this post available quite number of years ago. biggrin.gif I worked at ther as an audit intern for 6mths. What I can concluded was DON'T WORK AT THERE! I had my internship in the HQKL, the client size is basically can be compared with those mid-tier firm, but what you get was things that small firms give you. You work so hard but you can't polish your resume as it is not really reputable firm.

And my internship experience was awful. I don't mind to OT and work more than other interns in other firm as I know I have to get used with this working life. What makes me mad was people and seniors at there.

Example 1:
This is my first 3 days in the audit intern position. The manager just directly throw me to field work in first few days, no guidance at all, seniors who go for fieldwork with me also don't even willing to teach me, I was like an abandoned kid in the client's office. And when I tried to ask them, they also not really to reply me or just simply answer me. Of course, I did my things wrong, I didnt get the audit eveidences and was scolded. At the time I even seen an audit working paper completed file and 100% no guidance. They only throw me working paper template and briefly tell me what's inside the working paper. confused.gif This is only my first 3 days, I cant imagine how would be my comming 6 mths life at there.

Example 2:
My seniors was forced by the management to do 10 full set audit for mix of semi active and dormant (from audit planning to draft report) in A DAY. Those who know about audit may know this is an impossible workload. So, how they manage to complete it? They just omitted the real audit procedures and pretend all audit procedures done/ just copy paste items in g/l and done for the AWP. And as an auditor, you not only need to do audit, you still need to be debt collector, where the f the finance manager was? Take salary for free and ask auditor to do their job?

Too many bad things happen during my internship and not only the example above. I dont even want to continue at here after graduate. The benefit is bad and treatment also bad. Plus, it is a small firm, nom-reputable. So, dont work at there for full time and intern.
