Haha true. I think I'm going for tkl as I always use the keys for websurfing. I already looked for korean kbd in kbdmania etc. but its hard coz I dont understand korean. If only there are ppl that can help. I saw TGR-03 by Yuktsi in gh. It is still a prototype or already in production? I'm in Msia only for vacation. going back to europe in 2 months time. dont think that I have enough time might giving rao2100 a ring later.
different school of thought. maybe back in my younger days, i would have learnt how to solder. but now, i have the ability to pay more to get the things that i want. and it should work as advertised. this is the equivalent of a lemon. quarter of my kb is dimmer cause the leds are dying. and i dont even on them the whole day. only for a couple of hours at night.
Those get non-backlit keyboard faced this problem before. Backlit is not reliable. My previous Ducky also got dead LED issue. Then sold it, and bought a Filco. My life is completed.
Hi, planning to get a mkb. Currently using razer death stalker ultimate. Any brand recommend ? Would like to modify it into dota 2 layout. Please suggest me a place which can buy and modify it budget about 5-600.
Hi crazyfatt,
Brand recommended, Filco Majestouch 2 TKL (non-LED), CM Storm QFR-i TKL (LED). What is dotA2 layout do you mean? Can you show us?
Just wish the keyboard can get modify dota 2 keycaps. maybe combination of the keypad color which is red ? Doesn't have picture but it's juz in mind Personally like led version. Will look into the suggested brand. Thank dude
Something like this? If yes, that's common.

Get a keyboard without numpad, get tenkeyless layout. So, playing games will be more ergonomics when hover your mouse.
something like that but can it be more customize on others keys rather than juz 1 cap ? Do u selling those keyboard with modify service ? Kindly pm me ur price. i wish to get with num pad coz sometime i do need it to calculate = =
Too bad, no offer such service. Get a separate tenkeypad yourself rather than full layout; just recommendation tho.
im new about keyboard.Sorry if im wrong topic btw i wanted to get such as keyboard with combination white and black colour.Have a backlit RGB or 2/3/4 option colour. budget rm350 *tell me the right topic link if im wrong.
If you looking for mechanical keyboard, then you are in the right place. Please take a look in page 1 of this thread to understand further what is MKB.
If you looking for RGB MKB, there are Corsair, Razer. Get the black keyboard with black keycaps, then purchase after-market white keycaps (backlit version).
I think the RGB MKB pricing are higher than your budget.
can u recommend? im looking such this thing.how about with 2 or 4 option colour and full size.is so pricey too?

Thank you for putting a spoiler for large image.
RGB is pricey. Over >RM 500.
For bi-color LED MKB, there is a brand called KBParadise (Only have 60% and TKL models). No full layout for this brand.

So, either find a second hand RGB MKB, or wait for more brand release their RGB. So, pricing will be competitive if you want full layout bi/tri/quad/RGB mkb.
Note: If I was to recommend, I will recommend the first picture you put in the spoiler; Filco Majestouch 2 TKL. It's non-backlit.
"Spotted @ Heavy Arm Online Gamestore. It's the Cooler Master Full Size Mechanical Keyboard, Trigger. The promotion price is RM 299 (inclusive of GST). Also available at Gadget Zone Sdn Bhd & GTech Solutions."
i got from fb. is it worth if i buy this brand? but that keyboard is silver not pure white.

It's single LED color. The keyboard within your budget. Ya, this brand is good, and this model is standard layout. Easy to get after market keycaps set.
If you want more recommendation, refer to the first page. The guide was written by fellow forummers and mkb gurus.
ty for the credits. very nicely done dayum 2010 .... we've come a long way. not only in the malaysian market, but globally as well mech keyboards for gaming and even typing enthusiasts (writer/blogger/general user even) it's now here to stay.
Guess there was a market for a quality keyboard even if it has a price premium. 300-600 (your average run of the mill mkbs, very decent performance, though only thing missing tend to be lack of quality keycaps. May have lighting depending on the model), 800-1000+ (with custom kits or more special edition keyboard. dye subs, double shots, special lighting).
mkb is a worthwhile investment if you type alot. even for gamers where latency matters (from screen input lag, refresh rates, fps, and even the latency for when typing. Which is why linear switches tend to be best for gamers because of near instant actuation. this all adds up to your ingame reaction, especially for fps type games. maybe even for rts such as starcraft where quick key spams makes a difference)
hopefully we can poach more members from the gaming keyboard club oh wait that threads missing, did they get demoted ?
Thanks. Gaming keyboard inactive for 4 months time. So, it's hard to find their thread now. Hopefully can do some reviews on some keyboards to motivate more people coming to MKB.
