Hey  smile.gif I'm an SPM-leaver and i really don't know which is best.

Between IPTA (UPA? ) and IPTS, which is better? Right now and in the long run.  sad.gif

For instance, IPTS like Taylor's have really nice facilities and they help you after you graduate. But IPTA is by the government, so it must have some benefits in the long run for us too right? When we get work later?

But why does lots of people apply to, and hope for IPTS?  unsure.gif
My friend said that it's because they could choose what course they wanted, eventhough it's so expensive. With IPTA, you've got to apply, and you don't know what you'll get, yet it's affordable.

What're some of the pros and cons of IPTA and IPTS?

Not really expensive if you got a decent results ,plus there are plenty of affordable IPTS. Depends on which Pre-U course you want to take as well. IB out of the question la...

Personally, I don't see myself going to IPTA anytime soon... I don't fancy doing Asasi and don't think I'll be heading back to school for STPM. A lot of ppl told me IPTA's are a shadow of their former selves, made me hv some doubts liao.
It also depends on what Pre-U you have in mind right now, and your long-term goals. I wonder, how severe are your financial constraints? There are tuition fee waivers and loans also besides scholarships.
