My opinion would be to go for the sigelei mini+subtank V2 or the ipvmini V2+subtank V2. Avoid smokm65 if possible as some user encounter problem with their chip, including me. Now replaced it with Cloupor Mini, which also have complains of it exploding. -.- Smok m80plus seems to be good not sure about the chip. But all this are beginners I guess. Wait for the sifus here to help.

Where did u see Cloupor mini explode? It's just that with USB charging doesn't cut off after complete charging, thus melt the chip. I haven't seen any Cloupor mini explode! It's a nice compact mod, the one I have still in good condition as my entry level mod even though I just use its USB charging.

Friend got a M65 and I yet to try it out. DIY sand paper the bottom plate and the screw holes should fix the M65 problems of not wanting to fire at around 40% battery level. As for the misfiring by itself once u screw on the atty, I have yet to see anyone fix the problem. Anyone has the solution as its good to know and advise others.

I just paid yesterday for 2units of rDNA40 and 1unit of SX Mini. Hopefully can get it in time by Sunday! Hurhur....

For those with Cloupor mini, can u guys help to check if your resistance (ohm) blinks when firing if wattage is set lower than 23W with Atlantis 0.58ohm coil? Just noticed that mine did dunno since when. I read somewhere that if it blinks it means it changes to Mec mod? Can't seems to find any info on it. Thx.

About the cloupor exploding, I havent seen one. Dont intend to. But googled it and there's some people saying the batt caught fire even without firing and it wasnt on charge. But still love the cloupor mini.

I had my Smok M65 replaced twice. Once for auto firing, second, wasnt sure what, but after awhile, it just shows "check atomizer" even with a diff tank. Gave up, and got it replaced with a cloupor

No blinking. Mine at 0.91ohms, 18watts. But mines with a subtank mini. Didnt know cloupor had a mech mode too.

i called em yesterday, apparently they ran out of stock. New stock coming in next week only..

Check atomizer is pretty common, just make sure the 510 pin or screw is set up higher. Current Cloupor mini tends to show now and then when ever I screw it back after refilling juice. So just use screw driver to unscrew it higher. Problem solved.

my smok m65 is having some issue this few days..

whn i wants to vape, it keep shows 'power reduced' & reduce the waltage by 5. super annoying

sometime it will show 'weak battery' despite ive charge it for hours

the funny part is, when i charge.. the indicator keep change from 50% to 99% then back to 75% and so on..

wonder if its the battery prob or the mod itself, need to bring back to the shop & check..

i have been using the m65 for a month.. sand papered the plate bottom.. didnt have any problems thus far.. since day 1 (touch wood).. really took care of it.. no "harsh" treatment on it.. just proper vaping practices..

I really cannot see why so many smoks 65 out there having so much problem...

Like i went to chainvaporz yesterday.. a mamat also complained.. and ask for advice.. i just say "sandpaper the plate at the bottom.. should resolve most of its weaknesses"

Like I said before sandpaper the bottom plate where the battery connection is till the chrome paint is removed. Shd solve the problem.

What do u mean no harsh treatment? Hehe... Just load some juice and Fire at 65W!

It's because Smok is not listening to we vapors comments. I believe M65 sells so hot is because of its compact size with 65W. I even got a gold version for my friend. Will open up and DIY for him before handling over to him.

Are you using VV or VW for settings? I notice for VV the battery drain is very stable and more accurate. For VW the battery drain will jump up and down due to the way the chip calculating the battery drain

same situation as me last time. loving my derringer but need another rda to go for crazy build. tried all in your list, and end up buying dark horse. reason being, huge holes on pole, good air flow options.
