Tried Mont Blanc Emblem Intense and Legend are nice! Didn't like Dunhill Black Desire though..

Great to hear bro like it and happy to sniff sniff aroud.
Well,For floral base scent are very personal. Is great to do some homework and sniff around.
The scent tolerate are diff as jasmine brings out the indolic facet and how the perfumer work on it. If you like on fresher flora scent. Can try Dior Diorissimo. A green,light and fresh lily-of-the-valley.
A after downpour wet type wink.gif.
Try it out and you know which jasmine facet you likely to enjoy.

I thought Montale is only well-known for its Oud perfume......didn't know about the sea.
*
Agree with you bro.
Most of i hear and review on Montale are abt their oud notes creation.
Not sure abt their sea scent / notes... So far,I haven't explore Montale line-up.Probably any other forumer can share their experience and review wink.gif
Was looking around and explore Xerjoff, Clive Christian or Roja nx year..
Or probably any British perfume house ; Penhaligon's hmm.gif

Montale and me no no the oud too kaw for my liking. Clive christian and roja share one thing in common they like to make chypre. And that botak now targeting those arabic by releasing more oud and dubai exclusives and clive christian taking its time to create something from the past and just time for it to go oud lol

Penhaligon not my style of house for my liking. Juniper sling breaks my heart lol
*
ouch... Try Penhaligon Vaara. Is something that you can expect from this house. Btw,I'm searching up and down for Penhaligon Ostara.
Been eager to try the scent out.... The notes looks promising to me.

Unfortunately, I did not buy any Xerjoff today. I wanted try Zafar, and ready to purchase if I like it. They don't have a tester bottle to try. Too expensive to blind buy.
The crown jewel of the Oud Stars collection, Zafar going for RM900 after discount. Good deal?

I love medicinal oud, it gives the fragrances its 3rd dimension feels. I've narrow down two Fragrance Du Bois that I like:

1) Oud Orange Intense - Smooth Vanilla + Oud. There's nothing 'orange' about it.  Gourmand, and oud. Very strong silage and longevity.
2) Oud Noir Intense - Spices, medicinal oud, musk, flowery (jasmine, and very light rose).

Agree, it's too expensive. Even if it's a real Oud, but we're talking about cultivated, planted oud. Not the well aged oud.

But err I end-up purchasing something biggrin.gif

Ah, you had my attention on Ostara with Narcissus. I love Narcissus Noir by Caron. Nowadays, I would only grab my Racquets Formula (discontinued) or English Fern when I feel like dandy. The bowtie bottle is as dandy as the scents.
*
No way to get this scent.. Try to source up and down,but no any news.... sad.gif
Narcissus Noir by Caron is beautiful scent, Vintage release. I guess is kinda hard to get too.

What I know is peanut compares with those in #FFF. Just trying to contribute a little of what I know to this local fraghead community of ours.

FragranceNet.com you mean? They don't ship to Malaysia unfortunately.

This is Fragrantica's official giveaway page :-
- http://www.fragrantica.com/news/FragranceN...EAWAY-7357.html

I happen to be wearing one of them today - Cool Water by Davidoff. Godfather of all aquatics and poor man's Green Irish Tweed.
*
Nice one bro t0n3,
Yeap,I do own both AirSejuk & Git.
Not really same scent IMHO, I have no idea why ppl keeps compare this 2 scent side by side.
To be accurate or share the similarity vibes btw Coolwater are Bond No 9 Chez.. That's the closest i can detect.
I found Chez are more smoother and subtle compare to coolwater as coolwater have a sharp opening.Given a heavy pricetag,I have no doubt that 3 of the scent mention are really full-bottled worthy..

While Git are more to verbena freshness opening and herbalicious kicks in as the scent settles down.
Happen to be same,Today wearing aquatic fresh scent.

Davidoff coolwater can fight with bvlgari aqva marine or bvlgari aqva ?

I also bought Versace  Eau fraiche and nautica voyage. What do you guys think?
*
Nice haul on Versace Eau Fraiche & Nautica Voyage..
both i can say are fresh fragrance,While Versace are on bright lemon and carambola (starfruit) opening. A bright and sunshine scent to me.

As for the Davidoff Coolwater & Bvlgari Aqva & Bvlgari marine.
I would say 3 of this scent are Aquatic Marine scent,Each have their own attractiveness.
While I'll stick to Bvlgari Aqva as the longevity and projection are almost full mark given the price tag.While Marine are the lite version of Bvlgari Aqva. In-fact the scent a bit diff too.
As for Nautica is quite generic scent to me...

As for Coolwater,I did mention yesterday it is an all-time classic scent,With strong projection & longevity...I can say Coolwater easily beat any of Creed longevity. Just my nose can't tolerate the sharp opening vibes... Remind me of washing powder vibes... (Sorry,No Offence),But i admit is a old-skool cologne. Usually i sprinkle a min 1-2 on my shirt where i do workout at gym or any sport. flex.gif

Is depend on how you want other to smells you,And how you appreciate the perfumer works. smile.gif

ive been buying alot of perfumes lately lol, ever since i bought my very first perfume  tongue.gif  last 2 weeks, before this i never owned any, just stick to deodorant. Now I'm like discovering new scents everyday.

first i bought was hugo boss orange, recommended by a friend then i went to buy DG Pour Homme (current fav). Just receive my sample of Chanel Bleu men, pretty good smell to me. Then dior homme, smell really powdery.

Also bought creed aventus sample, doesnt smell that nice even though its heavily like by alot of people in fragnantica website.

Will go buy bvlgari aqva and aqva marine plus coolwater just to try out.
*
Congrats on your new haul and new addiction on this hobbies.
Perfume-head really can spend a lots in their fragrance...Be it from designer to entree-level niche and to world most expensive perfume.
But always,My advise to all forumer include myself always go slow... With the recent economies and weak ringgit vs foreign currency... Is really a turn-off.
Usually,I would stock up 1-4 Niche fragrance month.. But now i cut down to 1-2.. still counting bottle slowly..

Well,In case if you need one of those fragrance as mention - Bvlgari Aqva Pour Homme,Bvlgari Aqva Pour Homme marine & Davidoff Coolwater. You can let me know.
I do carry.

Cheers bro.

Haha my christmas present

My sotd : Xerjoff Nio

This is undoubtedly the king of citrus. Opening has this super intense combination of mouth-watering neroli n bergamotte

The citrus opening is so real and natural which last and last and last which for me have exceeded my expectation of citrus opening dont last.

Then drydown morph into spicy woody vetiver.

Xerjoff under fragrance du bois really competitively priced and cheaper than hong kong. And overtake neroli portofino as my fav citrus scent. And cheaper too than 50ml tom ford private blend

And this have spoil my nose coz after i ever finish this bottle i will still fall back to another bottle of nio lol

[attachmentid=5565045]
[attachmentid=5565436]
[attachmentid=5565449]
[attachmentid=5565719]

I also tried casamoratti mephisto. Fragrantica reviews that similar to creed silver mountain water so i mah try and see first spray reminded me of Sospiro Allegro super class smw

After the 25% discount it's only RM585. That's a steal! Essenza-nobile is selling around RM780 too (167.23 EUR) excluding shipping.
