CoolerMaster Notepal didnt do j@ck for my Inspiron9400, it's very silent i'll admit, but it didnt make a single degree as compare to my book i put at the rear of my lappy to elevate it.

my advice, just stack up a few books to elevate ur laptop, so that there some airflow beneath ut laptop.
