QUOTE(stringfellow @ Mar 29 2017, 01:45 PM) Scroll back a few pages, I've done my research. Trusting on the cheapest USB-C cable is more dangerous than going through the approved list. I'm familiar with the USB-PD standard and the Benson Leung and Nathan.K approved list of cables and charger. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1vnp...9f_TX8/pubhtml# yep some folks did some experiments to see how much power is drawn by using non compliant usb-c cables.. (cheap cables without chipsets inside to handle voltage regulation or something like that) can draw enough power to potentially lower the life of your gadget or even outright fry it...What cable length is it? What brand? Short of getting the J5Create cable which is the best possible cable available (which I have looked, that particular variant isn't sold here, only the crappier model is stocked at Viewnet Low Yat Plaza)' the Apple USB-C cable I have is the next best thing. |

Finally a local store here has the Anker powercore+ 20100 that has been tested and reviewed to be able to charge the switch while playing.. not cheap though rm 319... but ah well bit the bullet haha
Btw do you guys think that Binding of Isaac afterbirth is worh the asking price of rm 177 (from E-store?) thinking of getting a casual game for my switch haha.. currently prolonging BotW by trying to complete everything and also playing fast RMX |
