I'm buying another joycon but at some other time most likely before December, cuz gonna bring it at Cyberfusion again. Like pretty much every year, i'll bring a Nintendo console, everyone brough desktop only, so it's nice to promote it a little. :3

Enough for 4 people to multiplayer. Should be good. I actually was kinda hoping for old Wiimote and Pro Controller from Wii to work. Would have saved a lot of money. Considering that they did allow the older Wii remote to work on Wii U, they could have done the same on Switch. Instead need to buy a new one at some ridiculous price :<

Well going to my profile shows the time i'm playing now. So i'm good without the app, but still have it

Aside from looking at what people play and when they are online, there is a few games which uses the friends list for multiplayer. Besides that nothing yet.

They will probably release something like miiverse, where it's basically a community like thing where people share art, thoughts, screenshot. Maybe with messaging stuff and etc as well. I'm thinking it's gonna be this Fall cuz that's when you gotta pay for online services. But probably a lot more earlier, so they can beta test it and stuff with everyone.

Hopefully party chat as well, and comes with wireless headphone support soon. Should have been available on launch, especially the wireless counterpart

Splatoon Global test fire starts today at 3am, and 11am and 7pm.
Tomorrow at 3am and 11am and 7pm.

My body is reggie, 30min to start, time to get back playing after a while.

Ur connection, i've been playing just fine up till now.

While waiting for players press any button and you could make some of your own cool beats while waiting.

And Testfire over, it feels good to be back playing Splatoon. Summer is so far away, wisj they could release it early, at least there will be more testfire, and hopefully more extended testfire just like the first one last time.

Servers are global. You'll get mixed with a bunch of japanese, koreans and americans. So far looking the same like the first Splatoon in terms of that.

Also watch out for those japenese players, they are really good, same goes to when Mario Kart 8 is out.

Splatoon short game time per round is perfect for short session gameplay. Besides the turf war mode there is quite a number of different modes to play as well, and also weekly events. Hopefully they would follow the first game update, releasing new weapons and equipments weekly and such. Just to make you play it all the time. Updates was free in the first one. Most content is like in the game, but only available for use at a later time to keep you playing.

Now I just wanna play Splatoon again. *boots Wii U*

This is the first phase of the testfire, I'm hoping they would make more, because yeah, lack of games, and Nintendo should keep doing it to make people have something to play.

You can turn the motion controls off, and play traditional with the analog stick instead.
I prefer to turn it off for multiplayer, but in single player i turn it on because it's more relaxed.

ETA is in the Summer, no specific date yet.

I'm having problem as well but only happened around 7:20pm. Before that from the start was pretty smooth. I don't think anyone can play right now lol.

Smooth played normal today without any issues unlike yesterday just happens to have some technical issue on their part for Testfire.

Also noticed the game eating more battery than Zelda even if the graphic is less intensive, but I guess having 8 people moving around makes it drains more. 40% in an hour. Unlike Zelda is like 32-34% for each hour.

Even worse with the wifi signal, but they did say a fix is coming soon

That screen protectoris the only one i'm hearing having problems when docked. Others seems pretty safe. Sorry to hear about it, kinda an expensive sp as well

That will never happen for me. Price increase and out of stock all the time. More valuable as it ages. Until a point where Nintendo release it as Nintendo Selects which makes it cheaper, but only happens when the console is late in the cycle.

Also BotW has expansion coming up, knowing how good the game is already. At least keep it till you bought the expansion and play it.

Gamefreak is more independant now, they even make games for non Nintendo platforms. Also they have made quite a number of consoles games back in days. Doesn't say much on that aspect.

3DS line up of games is slowing down already, so they might actually release a new successor for the 3ds, who knows maybe next E3.

I actually prefer if they merge, cuz that way I don't have to spend more money. lol

Yes it will be the first for full fledge Pokemon game to be on console. But gotta take note it's a hybrid, portable and console as well. Also the Pokemon star will be just like the 3rd game with some content if it follows up on their usual thread. Like after Sapphire and Ruby there was a 3rd one later like Emerald, or like after Pearl and Diamond and then Platinum. Just minor stuff with some additional story and Pokemon.

Just wondering how good it will be in terms of graphic consider it's a huge jump from 3ds to Switch. Definitely interesting

Just wait for E3 for now. Reggie did say there will be a bunch of new games announced for the Switch especially, but also the 3DS. They also said it's going to be a big one. So i'm excited because they don't really participate much in E3. For the past few years it was mostly about Nintendo Treehouse on E3, and showing some demo, and revealing some prototype game.

Till then we'll see how far they still want to support the 3DS. And ofc a bunch of other Switch games that they haven't shown yet.

Always the stability update. And yes adding more stability always means they patched some exploits.
