Nintendo Swith sales expectation almost meet with what Nintendo expected for the first month.
QUOTE
Switch reportedly sold 1.5 million units worldwide in its first week on sale, meaning it's already not far off the 2 million sales mark that Nintendo hoped the console would reach by the end of March.
Specifically, the report from SuperData (via GamesIndustry) states that 500,000 consoles were sold in the US, with 360,000 units shifted in Japan. Europe apparently "isn't far behind:" the only numbers the sales monitor reports for Europe are that France saw 110,000 sales and the UK sold 85,000.
Nintendo president Tatsumi Kimishima said in October 2016 that he expects the Switch to ship 2 million units to stores by the end of March. With 1.5 million sold to consumers in the first week, that's a pretty good start.
Not sure why complaining about game price. MK8 Deluxe retail price is 60usd. RM259 sounds about right. Even all PS4 and Xbox1 game also same price actually.
New Smash Bros cpsia.. so basically we might get Smash Bros on Switch soon. Most likely, and ofc Wii U port. Don't see the point of selling new smash amiibo's now, if it ain't for something new

Yeah the price at 11street was listed as Rm416. Even from Amazon it will cost about Rm400+. Shipping is a killer. But I have one coming is via my friend. I've ordered from Amazon and had it shipped to his hotel and he is bringing it back to me. Still quite pricy, hope it's worth it. I am in need of a laptop bag anyway so, I found out that you can put in a MacBook pro in it.
Well that's good always nice to have someone import thing over for you. I used to have someone bringing me stuff from US and Japan, and the shipping cost was reasonably cheap, no he quit, everyone else prices can't compare.
All the good accessories is always something our local seller never bring over sadly.
That's good, i'm planning to do regular tournaments like last time 9pm till Midnight every day. But this time with battle mode since they are finally fixing it.
Nintendo should really consider allowing gamers to copy & backup their game saves. Imagine the horror of losing all game progresses because of hardware/software failures, esp. games like BOTW. Will be very painful, wasted time & efforts.
There is one on 3ds. Give it time, the system is still new, can't expect them to add everything so early. More improvements will will be made that's for sure. Back on 3ds the save backup isn't available on day one either. Pretty sure they will at it later on
maybe after they introduce the pay online subs, they will introduce the save cloud system too??
Yes I think they will, but that's around Fall's. They might release it early and let us test it out. They are already doing so atm, since online multiplayer functionality is still free.
Yup, pretty new for the system. It might have update later to upgrade the system. However, is it 3ds also having the hang problem when they just launch?
It's a rare problem. Yet to encounter it on Switch and 3ds. That kinda happens pretty much everywhere though. Not like a hard reboot won't fix it
Something a bit weird happen regarding the battery for me just now. Was playing Zelda and battery was low at 13 percent. Then turn it off fully, and plug it for charging when it turns on it was at 36%... and I was like ok...
Also got my profile saying that I played 50 hours or more of Zelda yesterday. I think regarding the activity log they might have the library app like on 3ds and Wii U in it to track, but maybe the app aren't ready yet. Would be more convenient rather than using Parental Control app to track my game time.
Stock would only come in early April for most. It's probably Nintendo not producing more stocks, Nintendo always like that tbh, amiibo same case when it was first out, as well as the new nes mini as well.
Before that 3ds and Wii U i didn't hear much problem because the launch didn't go as well as Switch. Probably Nintendo didn't think it will do so well, who knows.
Better than Disney, overproduction lead to them having to outright shutdown their Disney Infinity franchise.
"Infinity had also hit a number of production problems along the road. The franchise's 1.0 figures sold out - which caused Disney to freak out about lost sales - so its 2.0 range was overproduced. 2m Hulk toys were reportedly made. Only 1m were ever sold."
Yeah Nintendo has been playing safe for a while now, it's not so surprising. It usually only happens for the first month or so, once restock they are usually good after that. Sadly nes mini still has stock problems till now lol.
As for Disney, they have pulled plug on a lot of games before and I'm kinda not surprised when that happened. Disney has some mmo and etc as well like Free Realms it was doing well and just after a few years they decide to just pull the plug. They always do that when things didn't go so well, so yeah. Poor kids who love the game and buying all the toys and later to know the game is gonna be shut down and etc. Such a bad handling of the game.

I forgot how slow it takes for the item to arrive if you order from playasia and use the cheap shipping. 5 days wait to arrive to Malaysia and now item stuck at KLIA for 4 days there lol. Not even processing and custom check even..
Should have used fedex lol, like most i bought from. This weekend nak balik kampung also rip
Wow luckily i used fedex last week. Ordered on friday and got it on monday 😊
Yeah should not be a problem with fedex option. Usually order today, tomorrow already arrive, it's pretty quick, not sure why i tried the cheap option again... forgot how slow it is
