One day, Muto Kazuki, a high school boy, saves a girl being assaulted by a big monster, but he is stabbed to death by the monster. However, the next morning, he finds he is alive. He wanders it was just a dream, but he meets the monster again, and he realizes his death is real. He and his sister get into a scrape, but suddenly, a girl in the dream appears. She explains him that the monster is a Homunculus made by alchemy. She also tells him that there is Kakugane in his chest in place of the heart. It is an alloy made by alchemy, too, and it is the only weapon to fight against Homunculus. Using the power of Kurogane, he beats the monster and saves his sister.

Nah, nothing like that. Try reading the manga, but IMHO, a 7 tankoubon long manga should not have been made into an anime. it's too short

Well Kyuu had released the Ep 01 around a day back or so. Have yet to finish downloading it, so I guess I hold off my opinion until then (I missed the RAWs, too many RAWs out and too slow torrenting speed, so I had to resort to selective downlods >_<)

Its nice if you ask me.. Very nice plot just that I hate their weapon.. blink.gif

He didnt even know how to use the alchemy and suddenly he become an alchemy warrior.. Make me wonder if anyone poccess that element anyone can be what they want ??

Because of popularity. How a manga prevail in a magazine like Shounen Jump? Every month (or certain time), the readers have to decide (through survey forms) which story should continue or which shouldn't. Apparently for this case, Busou Renkin didn't go far. Any story that is not popular will be thrown away from the magazine. That's what happened to Busou Renkin manga.

And any series that IS poplar will be retained for years.... look at Dragon Ball. even one piece and nartuo is going to be like that. But at least one piece does not take itself seriously. Kochi Kame meanwhile escapes this poll,

actually the manga is quite good ... i think
maybe the process of the elements of alchemy is done in the chip...

Did anyone notice that this anime "feels" like the 1st epi of Bleach? While watching, i felt like i'm already spoiled cause i can pretty much predict what everyone is going to do....

Does this anime only revolve around the two main characters and the guy's sister? Or will there be others joining them later on?

Like how Bleach started with Ichigo and Rukia, then the Soul Society was brought into the story...

If its only two people wan, bit boring right? They trying to do it like FMAlchemist is it?

Didn't know about this before..so readers do actually get to decide if the manga should be discontinued or not.

I haven't watched the anime, but I stopped reading the manga after a volume or 2 because it wasn't appealing to me, so I'm not surprised it ended short. Think I might pass on the anime as well.

hmm... yup. it does seem like Bleach, except that his friends don't have special powers. i have not read the manga yet, but i think Busou Renkin does have its appeal...

what am i saying. I'm addicted to it already. smile.gif i thought that it was a whole load of fun!

nobody following this anime series? Until now, it has episode 23. From the looks of it, it is going to end at 26. very nice anime to watch. good character development, male lead hero with cute heroine and good fighting scenes.

Alchemy is a failure, except for homunculus and kakugane, based on this manga, remember?
About the weapon of choice, it is probably due to the user's personality, self, etc. Yeah, kakugane reacts to the user's energy, which is mentioned as well. Well whatever, who bumped this thread anyway (not that I care, the anime isn't done yet)?


Well, yeah, this anime is a good one though, I had fun watching.

very typical anime with boring battle scene and annoying random shouting of attack name doh.gif . no female character is watchable or droolable . all male character look like have some kind of weird fetish .
storyline is too fast paced , joke is not funny , the monster and weapon lack imagination .

watchable if you are bored and nothing better .
