are you setting your passward in user account to lock your windows?..brows.gif
this password can easy break up to login your windows & is not secure.

You may try "syskey"... thumbup.gif

go 'run' than type 'syskey' than 'update' than choose either 1 than 'ok'..
but after you set your password, you must remember it.
follow the set up & done..

hope this tips will help you to make sure your computer is save when you are not in..

Can you edit it? or each time you need to manually type in syskey and the password?

Syskey works with Windows NT operating systems (NT 4/2000/XP/Server 2003) only.
Syskey is irreversible and remember to backup your key to floppy before doing this.
Btw with Windows XP SP2 and Server 2003, syskey is enabled by default.

LSA hook password crack will render your system into crash if you do it with Windows XP SP1 and Windows Server 2003.

If I am not mistaken this type of encryption is already default in XP Pro's, right?

I thought it encrypts the password log only?
