I don't own bitfenix outlaw, but i probably know what's wrong... Is this sticky stuff, you mean when it's new, it has softouch, rubber-like feel?

Hmm.. i would remove the sticky rubber-coating... with solvent that's gentle on plastic... i removed my Microsoft Mouse 2000 which have rubber-coating , as they claim for softer grip and comfortable...

yea, sure it's comfortable when new... once it's used and after some time.. the gum underneath will somehow change and thus sticky.. i have several of the same mouse, brand new, sealed in their boxes, and it's sticky already when i check on them after some time.

I would recommend you to stay off rubber-coatings or soft touch. they tend to give sticky surface and damm attract dust when's used for some time.

for me, i use RainX (prevent blur window on car window), or nail polish... that don't corrode your plastic. after that, give it a coat of flat black, but use primer first ( can find in hardware store )... and that would be closest to the original softouch.

Buy some rubbing alcohol and clean it up. the bare plastic will have swirl marks ( plastic moulding process, not because of alcohol ) and you can buy a Spray Paint ( flat Black ) and spray over it nicely. Add Primer surfacer for more durable finish.
