i doing preorder pc jpn ce version. Anyone else ? XD

Was thinkin of ordering from any stores today but i'm not sure why, ff14 heavensward collector edition for pc had already sold out.
Official date open for preorder is 16/3/2015 but yesterday night, all sites were down and immediately today every online store sold out.
Funny thing is that, no mentioning of any sites selling ff14 heavensward collector edition. Preorders were open silently across selected seller sites. And all sales were full when i tried to search across google.
This is ridiculous. I'm pretty sure, se is heavily holding back the collector edition so that they can jack up the price after wards due to limited stocks. Fark japan!

Most expensive no NA and EU la.
JPN really goes off chart if you really want to preorder collector edition.
My last purchase on the ce with peorder bonus amounted to RM700++
That country forbids foreign credit card if you're trying to buy outside of amazon japan.
And worse of all, amazon japan will be the last to place CE into sales.
Because when sellers sell them in amazon japan, it's not the original price, it increased by 50-100% the shelf price.

I've been trying to search amazon japan with ff14 and it only shows realm reborn.
I had to type ファイナルファンタジーXIV and it finally showed heavesward.
Indication on shelf price, not sure total package gonna cost how much to be delivered to Malaysia.
I got a big bad feeling with 6% GST and the piece of dragon is not going to be light.
Worst of all.. >RM500 -> got tax zzzzzzzzzzz

Beware of 6% gst and over RM500 tax. Kastam officer is now very poor and hungry. The number of recent activities of them tahan parcel is pretty high lately.
I hope i can immediately warp them to dead island one day , given the ability to do so.

Told you.. those arsehole will revise the price. Those are 3rd party resellers.
Once stock has fully exhausted, these 3rd party resellers will mark up the price from 50%-100%.
I was lucky enough to preorder mine at a shelf price of 15984 yen.
Advise for PC users, if you can't get the pc CE due to limited stock, you have two options.
1st option, go for the online download preorder if you are not fussy without a physical copy.
2nd option, if die die you also want physical copy of ce, buy ps3/ps4 versions ce.
As far as i know, ps3/ps4 ce has the worse sales rate and tends to have leftovers for a long long time.
However, you'll need to turn to your friend for help because those ps3/ps4 will not be able to update your pc's current game client to the latest. Get them to copy the entire updated game folder and client to you.
On the bright side, your ff14 account now becomes playable on pc and ps3/ps4

I hestitate for a while back then when it was selling at 9k yen only. After 3 days, price shot to 16k yen.
I was forced to purchase from another site at 14k yen. i ran through many troubles speaking with the japanese bank officers in japan to get my money transfer over. It took me really a lot of trouble just to get it.
Which is why, i learnt my lesson not to be late in pre-ordering for japan games ce. One hestitation, your wallet could grow much more deeper then you could ever imagine.

Seems that yoshida had intention to make physical heavenward ce stocks very limited.
For ps3 and ps4, there's a fix price. However for pc, the price was stated open.
Based on the previous purchased quantity, yoshida anticipated that heavenward ce will sold out very quickly for the pc version.
I'm not sure how limited for ce digitals. My guess is that digital ce might be not be that limited for early preorder bonus. But there'll be a timeframe of at least a few days before they halted the early preorder bonus sales and resume the normal ce digital.

Digital CE is almost 1/2 the price of physical CE.

SE store for US selling them and they are taking orders.
Unless yours an EU copy.

As far as i know, if there's substantial amount of players looking for EU copy, you all could try the two reputable sellers. Heavyarm or Impulse.
Heavyarm does have intention to bring in but he couldn't confirm anything yet.
Most probably the orders were scarce and his supplier has no news.Also inform them that the amount of players willing to place order.
It might persuade them to bring in.

If cannot, might as well just try your luck on qishan as well.
Tell them the case and see how much chances they can bring in EU copy as well.
EU copy is currently unavailable not because it's sold out but the eu se store site facing technical difficulties.Once they resolve the issue, i'm sure orders will be open up to many places .

Get the digital ce first.
I'm not sure the availability of physical stock containing the box contents without the cd-key.
As far as i know, some players bought the digital ce version first.
Then they waited till the heat/craze for the box set is over, they check out amazon/rakuten for anyone selling only the box contents without the cd-key and bonus.
As far as i knew, jpn sellers do sell that.

I think the issues with SEA players gets ignored and occasionally receive bad support from their CS should really be appeal on the forums.
As a SEA player, we're divided across different region which is not associated to either of the sold region package.
It's always a big dilemma that which side SEA player should choose.
When buying CE, shyt like this happens.
Let's hope someone could open up a SEA discussion thread and everyone flocks in to bring up their sharp attention.
There yoshida is, running some massive patch updates activities but he didnt show any interest in solving the payment issues across globally. Maybe only "developed" , "continental" and his homeground country deserve attention.
Other regions of the planet is considered alien and unnecessary.
I still remember back then jpn account holders were able to buy crystas with creditcard or debit card.
Now users are forced to buy from 3rd party.

Maybe if majority of the asians willing to step up and make a ruckus of such incident, se team will have no choice but to do something about it.
If not, most of the time they'll just play dumb dodging the problem.
And it's not the first time such question has been raise and till now yoshida with his team were dodging it .
They always simply made a vague short reply about it like "We'll do something about it in future" When was that "future" we always heard off. Nothing but simply a brush off so that they can simply skip the question.

The price for getting EU collector physical copy won't be cheap.
I believe that's the reason why many of our retailers pulled the handbrake.
129.99£=RM711.62 plus freight charges. ??? It'll be around 40-50£.
So total is somewhere around RM900.

I remembered that when i purchase my jpn copy, it took them 2weeks to get back to me with the code. zzz

Didnt know something so convenient to be available on the net. Thx to this hola, i'm able to access various blocked sites from my company lol.

There are abundance of stock for pre-ordering for early access.
Just the item reach you don't know is early or not.
But as what i know, roughly somewhere around june, they'll distribute the early access code through email.
The supplier should receive those code. It might be late may or early june.
