CE has usually always been pricey premium, and only a few are actually worth it but then whether it's worth it or not depends on the person, it's one of the reason I stop buying into CE

Also the box always will be padded and oversize to protect the content, they can't really make it compact since there are chances the box might be crush and damaging the content inside. They are not design to be shipping friendly to be honest, they are design to look nice and protect whatever inside of it.

Cause FFXIV ARR CE doesn't comes with a figure

The only CE that I have that comes with a figure while being compact is Batman Arkham City CE, but you can see that the figure itself doesn't have much protection if anything heavy were place on it during shipping.

I just buy the digital CE since I am not much into the physical stuff nowadays, lack of space and all.
