Yo guys...

After listening to advices from Ryugan and Kenny, I've changed my "driving style".

I was doing test day to practice my pits, as I was pushing my hot laps to the limit, guess what... rolleyes.gif

I got a 1:10.218 in Canada... I was on 15L of fuel with tyre wears and fuel usage off. yawn.gif After hours and hours of hard practice, finally I am able compete myself with them already!!! rclxms.gif

Argh.. After that I had tried to drive RH2004 BMW Williams with the same settings, I managed to time 1:10.8xx. icon_rolleyes.gif

Seniors, please give me more advices so that I can have more improvement opportunities... thumbup.gif

P/S: Can anyone explain to me what are the differences between Front Wing and Rear Wing?

You can download kimster setups as a base. After that you'll have to modify to suit your own driving style. There is no perfect setup unless you make them.

ryugan: impossible la...consider properly, 15L is around the normal amount of fuel we start with in the fast lap. Jacky made that lap with 15L of fuel all the way to the finish line while our fuel load goes down with every KM done. Nobody can do 1.09 la...if you or me use that setting also impossible tongue.gif

Ok, what i did was decrease the wings from the original settings by 4.

After that i tweaked the gear ratio, i decreased the lower gear ratio to gain fast acceleration and increase the final gear ratio, so i can get higher speed on the staright, but that does not make much difference other than the acceleration part which helps me a lot.

Oh, other than that I used 1 for radiator intake, i cruise on my out lap to keep my engine cool, heat up my engine at the straight on my out lap then push to the limit on my hot lap... That is how I gain that time...

Oh well, anyway I have fuel usage and tyre wear off..

What is Radiator Intake?
QUOTE
Given how complicated cooling management is, you need a good reason to tackle so many contradictory problems, and that reason is aerodynamics. Essentially, we must find the correct balance between cooling and aero performance because the more air we channel through the radiators, the less efficient the overall aerodynamics become. In fact, changing between minimum and maximum cooling can reduce downforce by as much as 5%, which translates to a lap-time deficit of around 0.4s on an average circuit.

Typically, we will run oil temperatures of over 100°C, while pressurising the water system at up to 3.75 bar allows the boiling point to be delayed until around 120°C: running these higher temperatures means we require less airflow through the radiators, thus improving aerodynamic performance. As ever, though, these choices carry a penalty: each extra 5°C of water temperature we run, allowing the radiator outlets to be smaller, robs the engine of over 1 bhp.

jacky, in the aerodynamic setting page (front/back wings), there's the engine temp there. Once you finish a lap, it will show the exact temp of the engine...play around with 1 radiator intake then make another lap with 3 radiator intake. You will see a big difference. I think the engine explodes at 150 degrees laugh.gif

I just saw a pic of F1 cars racing in Laguna Seca!!! Why don't we have that track?? blink.gif
