Hi guys, new guy here,

just out of curiosity, if I were interested of buying Optimus Prime, what should I look for?

The Optimus Prime that I'm interested in is the G1, which in the late 1980s I had one but didn't bother for it along with other of my toys. Back then the only one I would 'sayang' was Liano, coz he so macho and cool. I also had the PowerMaster Optimus Prime which I hate because all was plastic and not metal like my previous Optimus.

So now, to relived my boyhood memories, I decided to get some of the memorable figurine starting with Optimus. I looked at the first page of this thread, and also went to ebay.

Of course getting a 1980s Hasbro one is out of the question (Not gonna spulrge that kinda money on just OP, better get Gibson Les Paul Custom )

But I did find a couple of sellers on the bay, selling what looks like the same packaging and content but not from Hasbro. And its cheaper, my question is;

-is it ok to get those?
-what are they? Licensed copy? Unlicensed? Fake? China atempt of faking OP?
-is it ok to buy a non-Hasbro figurines in terms of Transformers?
