yes, it will. just exactly how Superion should be.

however, if you chose to have the Hasbro version then it is also fine because Hasbro will release Quickslinger (their version of Slingshot), so you can buy it when it releases.

so, it's entirely up to you whether you want a Slingshot now or a Slingshot later.

Alpha Bravo is a good figure but if you are buying Defensor then there's no need for Alpha Bravo because Blades is a repainted Alpha Bravo.

I like Alpha Bravo being part of the new reboot of the combiner series in IDW comics' Combiner Wars. In fact, I think while a lot of people try to mod their new CW to look like the old G1 toy or cartoon, I like the new versions and comic reboot. Planes or cars facing the front of the combined body, updated alt modes and even some new facelift in the robot mode... Really nice looking.

All the other fictional characters like Spider-Man and Batman have gone through so many reboots, and it is about time I can get to enjoy an English-based reboot because I missed out on the whole Unicorn trilogy reboot. smile.gif)

I also like the fact, I can follow the characters in the six part IDW CW war series... Still waiting for my comic orders to come in. smile.gif)

right, do you mind to tell where is the best reliable deal for PO takara? i'm seeing rm430 and rm450, but ebay has as low as rm350 for po!
*
RM350 is a good price for PO. You should go for it. smile.gif
1Toy has said RM300++ but they still can't confirm the price. I expect no less than RM320. I expect the Takara version will go out quickly because this is what most people feel Superion should be.
I much prefer the new reboot version. In fact, I hope Malaysia will bring in the re-release versions of wave 1 with the comics! But I don't think that will happen. sad.gif

Latest news, apparently, it is quite "proven" that the seller is a fraudster. All of his listings has been removed and his account has been deleted by eBay. Paypal has also confirmed that all buyers submitted claims for a refund but they cannot proceed any further because in their record, the seller has updated the system with "tracking code" which upon verification, appears to be invalid =O

How to determined if a Masterpiece figure for example MP-17 Prowl is a KO or the real thing?

As far as I know, even the box is exactly the same thing perfectly copied.

For cars MPs... The box can give you lots of hints if it is real or fake. Search KO vs. MP comparisons from RocketPunch Army on YouTube

Just watched the video, really hard to know which is KO from out of box... I just bought 1 from eBay n waiting the toy to reach my door step. Got a few MPs still not yet out of box but this MP-17 a bit worry. Seller told it's from TakTom Japan with no coin, guess I'll need to transform it once I get it.

You can check the TOMY logo copyright stamp on KO to see if it is there, but you need an original to compare to really know. smile.gif

All Japanese release has no coins. Hasbro Asia sells TT products outside of Japan because that's the deal between Hasbro and TT. So when Hasbro Asia distributes TT MP toys, they have the coins to go with it. That's why the coins are stamped Hasbro. So if your toy comes directly from Japan, there will not be any coins.

You seem to suggest that I'm contradicting myself in my statement which i disagree.

My first reply was to your statement that the combiners appeared to resemble "gorillas", thus I assumed that you were complaining about the bulk size of it but then after reading your second statement, I'm thinking that maybe you are referring to the arm's length which extends all the way to the knee joints hence giving them that "ape-like" appearance which is why i replied to you regarding the mechanics.

I'm sure Hasbro finds the actual combiners wanting for something and I'm sure they still think the illustration in the comics are better but like i said, "restrictions" will not help them achieve what they wanted to achieve. So, it's the matter of Hasbro following the comic rather than the other way around.

Wow! Seems like you've been through the Transformers franchise since they were released. Care to show me which combiners Hasbro has released that in your opinion is better than the current combiner wars line? I just started collecting the toys as of late 2011 so have no idea of its predecessors.
*
Not to interject the CW thingamagic, but Hasbro does have a point person to communicate with IDW and Movieverse peeps about the character and how they look like etc... I think I saw a job ad posting on that once.. But you know. Even if there's collaboration, there's still gonna be creative differences in the final two products, comics, movies, animated, toys, video games... They will all be different from one another.

Dear TF Fren

I need A lil Bit Of advice

I never own MP OP

so i want to know sumthin before i decide

Question

1. How many MP 10 That hav been reissue Regardless Hasbro or Takara? hmm.gif
Takara came out with MP-10 and has just recently done a reissue that Hasbro Malaysia brought in.
Hasbro has issued out TRU exclusive but last year Transformers Asia also reissued this same one as Asian Exclusive.
There's also the MP-10B Nemesis Prime that doesn't have a trailer.
There's the Hasbro YOTH MP-10.
There's also the exclusive MP-10A Babe version.
There's also the cross fictional release called the MP-10 EVA.

Unofficial or Knock-off MP-10 release are:
MP-10 v. 1 = not good. Lots of gaps, especially the arms.
MP-10 v. 2 = much better with more paint details than the Takara one. Joints are even tighter.
MP-10U =  KO company's rendition of Ultra Magnus.
MP-10A =  KO version of Babe.

I think the KO company is coming up with KO trailers and KO MP-10 EVA as well.

1.a. Of all the Reissue, any of them come without Trailer? blink.gif
The MP-10B has no trailer but it is not a reissue.

2. Is there any different Referring On Size or mold.? I tot earlier MP OP a lil bit bigger than Previous One? doh.gif
No difference. Some people claim that the KO MP-10 is slightly bigger!

3. The OP YOTH using same mold with MP 10 OP rite?
Yep.

4. The last one Official MP 10 release is from hasbro on TRU rite, i remember the Box arrive with 2 MP 10 in it,
and i watch it disappear 1 by 1 from the shelf,
Hasbro Malaysia has just brought in the MP-10 reissue.

For those, who have already got their hand on MP-10 reissue, first thing you might want to check is the left leg

It doesn't tab in properly regardless how you try, seems to be a QC issue from the factory  sweat.gif

I've seen much worst bigger gap than mine.

Anyone here know how to contact Takara Tomy, to complaint. If this is the quality they are giving, I will lose hope for the upcoming MP pending to come out this year, I already PO 5 of them

Correct me if I'm wrong, all other MP was made in China before this, for this MP-10 reissue it is made in Vietnam instead.

I have both the original and reissue. Both said made in Vietnam on the box.
