for new in box figures, it might be more expensive.. but those places sometimes can find gems..
like the old n rare figures.. in BIB or loose set in glass cabinet, or even packed in plastic bag.

i bought a loose complete HA soundwave there before.. only around rm130..
considered good price cos u cant find it anywhere here in that pricing..(might get KO some more)..

in Japan doesn't mean no KOs, as some KOs are so close to the original even the shop keepers can't tell.

but mostly American toys like Neca, because too many KO Neca Ninja Turtles out there (some say comes from same factory as ori in China).

but there are very minor details you can differentiate KO with Ori.

I see..thanks!! will keep my eyes on 2nd hand items as well!

go to shops that sell 2nd hand items & also new items.

the 2nd hand items will be much cheaper than new (if still widely available). it's more like BIB, but some are brand new just preowned by someone prior.

new item at most 5-10% cheaper than RRP.

IMO best is find rare items or sought after items because they are expensive to get outside Japan.

Hi. It seems Transformers are not so hot any more? It's been a long time since I visited Lowyat Forums, and I'm surprised to see this thread is so slow...

Anyway, [WTB] CW Skylynx. Loose is fine provided it's complete and in good condition. It's an item that would be nice to have.

Thanks.

Most likely because CW and TR has been a mixed bag, TLK being meh, and MPM-4 being a qc mess, and 3P releases are getting slow, there's isn't much to talk about until maybe POTP or MP-39.

Hi All,

Planning to buy some Transformer toys but not too sure about these 2 online shops. Would appreciate some feedback as to their reliability.

I prefer to COD but since they seem to only do online sales, wanted to know your experience in dealing with them (if any).

i'm not sure about shopping player but x2o have clean records with me before i semi-retired. They are quite reliable, not the fastest in release but once they have stock, they will courier to you upon payment made. They have tracking page system to ensure what have you PO or purchase, payment/ deposit made or not and stuffs after you register an account with them. I have 3 full page deal succeed and 1 pending.

if you wish to COD, you can join facebook fanpage like TransMY, Collector's hangout, MyToy/ Famitoy selling page look out for 2nd hand/ part time sellers.

Yep X2O is one of the better online sellers. The boss is friendly and she helps you out when your 3rd party toy has issues. Their prices may not be the absolute best you can find, but the service they provide is worth it imho
