Backlight bleeding, glow (IPS), colour shift (TN), black not black enough are always feature of LCD especially nowadays that pricing always dictate the mainstream market product.
Back then when using CRT, we won't talk about this kind of issue at all.
While with recently year LCD change from CCFL to LED as backlight, I saw more problem in term of backlight bleeding, don't know its is quality issue or because of LED.
LCD still fail to beat CRT in term of image quality despite its advancement.
A good LCD that can produce good colour accuracy, deep black, its pricing won't come cheap.
Last time buy crt, don't need to worry much.
Now with LCD, need to concern, backlight bleeding, colour accuracy, black not black, bright/dead pixel, lag, not fast enough respond time etc, interpolation that cause text become blurriness etc.
any better black level LED monitor recommendation?
