Sister recently did crazy well on her exams, so gotta belanja.
She decided on Shogun but I'm pretty sure everyone I talked to so far recommends against going to the place. Anywhere else that has nice Japanese Buffet offerings but With out the crazy price tags of let's say Jogoya? Preferably within the KL/Damansara/PJ,/Sunway areas. Recommendations are very much appreciated. Thanks. This post has been edited by Sentinel92: Aug 23 2015, 04:33 PM |

I was there recently over the weekend, quite good. Currently got 5 free 1 pax for the buffet until end August. Seniors below 60 years old 20% off, above 60 years old 50% off. Shogun sucks. |

Anybody tried this place, Aoki-Tei Japanese Restaurant? It is located at Sunway Nexis, Kota Damansara. Not much info on it. Found 1 blog on this place.

Aoki Tei is pretty much good for cheap free flow sashimi and sake. The food quality ain't that good though. The fried stuffs were overcooked and cawanmushi was quite tasteless. Maki rolls were quite alright. Generally value for money but don't expect much for the taste.
