My friends and i decide to hunt for sushi buffet, so far we only know there is an outlet which located at 1U, shogun. each pax, RM 50. The price is quite OK for us, but i heard some complaints about the food is not fresh and not even delicious... So is this a true? Or guys, got other suggestion for me?

Erm.. for buffet style.. I do recommend Kampachi @ Equotorial Hotel Kuala Lumpur .. although quite ex a bit at RM70 - RM 90 plus plus.. or my fav spot is Zipangu @ Shangrila Hotel @ RM88 plus plus.. . Its the best as they air flown their supply direct from japan 2 - 3 times a week. Enjoy

Holiday Villa in Subang Jaya, the japanese restaurant. The food not bad, fresh oysters (yum ), the octopus, jellyfish and others. RM49 I think.

speaking for myself, i find the jap restaurant in Legend hotel to be pretty good. Price is about 70++ and it's only available on weekends. Please call ahead and book as they are usually packed.

Recommended if you got fren working there.. ask them to buy the cuopon for u. and can get 50% off.. Yeah.. you can walk straight in. Hehe.. But better to reserve at Zipangu and Kampachi.. .. Their spread are the best

its called Saisake...and I have been there. Their range is a lot better than Momo I think. They do have sushi...and shark's fin soup too Shogun in 1U is under Saisake company. But Shogun only opened somewhere earlier this year while Saisake has been in KL for quite some time. The food in Saisake are ok...I couldn't tell whether they were fresh or not This post has been edited by young_soul: Oct 10 2006, 02:52 PM
