hi,
any lite-on s900 users here? where do you claim your warranty if needed to? is there a lite-on warranty center here in KL? im thinking to get 1 from IPMART but the warranty only 1 year. sufficient enough? or transcend 370 series is better? price about the same but 3 yrs warranty i understand SSD is more reliable compared to HDD but..hard to say right... |

hi..i not really good at this but i would like to know if my current setup is capable for 2 ssd at raid 0.
i have asrock z77 extreme 4 and 1 wd black 1x samsung f1. so if i were to get 2 ssd for raid 0 then i need til plug that 2 ssd under Intel controller SATA 3 port and the remaining for my hdds right? now do i have to update any bios or any apps first before i install this SSD? because i have not touch anything (bios update/configuration) in my mobo even since i bought the system abt 2+ years ago. can i just plug and configure raid 0 then install windows, that's it? |

hi is there any disadvantage of using SSD in raid 0 beside failed on 1 drive unable to recover data? Will it like reduce the lifespan of both the SSD? Things like tat? My aim is fast drive with good storage so i dont really mind failed on 1 drive will lose the data..i have another HDD to store my data. This SSD raid 0 setup mostly for my applications & games

hi, im looking at a good 500gb ssd and im currently eyeing on Crucial MX100 512GB & BX500GB since they are around the same price. which 1 is better? or MX200 500GB much worth the extra bucks?

QUOTE(horns @ Sep 12 2015, 12:10 AM) crucial mx200 might be a better choice. it replace their mainstream mx100 (bx100 is entry-level or value), and it's 160tbw within 3 years of warranty for 500gb, instead of 72tb tbw endurance for mx100 and bx100, within warranty period. hi thanks for the suggestion. if i understand correctly, 72tb is about 40gb/day for 5 years right..but how do i know how much data i write to the ssd per day? im gonna use this ssd for windows & games. or do you have any other recomendation for around 700+? |
