May I ask what's a proper mSATA SSD these days?
my laptop has 2 mSATA slots, and one of it is used up (i'm using a Crucial M550 256GB mSATA), and I would like to add another (for gaming purposes)
What would be your recommendations?

QUOTE(horns @ Aug 11 2015, 09:24 PM) Crucial drives are good. Maybe you wanna get another 256gb to do raid0. (Double the speed and space. Hdd as download and storage) Preferably use the same model for a system. It's easier to manage (using the same manufacturer supplied software to manage all of them) If you wanna go for capacity, there are not many choices for msata. Again it's m550 512gb, or samsung 850 evo (up to 1tb; rare, might need back-to-back order) Yeah, I was thinking what to do since I do need the storage, but I'll keep in mind for your advice, or probably buy 2 new mSATA SSDs (that are obviously larger than 256GB in size). However I feel mSATA is, for whatever reasons, ridiculously overpriced. Sigh.
