Hi everyone there is a question i need to ask right here. I have a Macbook Pro Mid 2009 model and I'm looking forward to upgrade from a normal HDD to a SSD. Is there any recommendations that i could look out for ? I get a lot of people telling me to get the Samsung 850 Evo and some told me to get the Crucial MX200. Is it necessary to get the more expensive SSD ? Because no one actually recommended me a cheaper option. Will be looking forward to read from this thread soon

Thanks for the replies
will take that into consideration as i have just found out that the crucial mx200 have that rain technology that does data protection thingy which i would find it useful for i use my mac for my work. does the samsung have that kind of thing too ?
after knowing that im actually leaning more towards getting a crucial mx200

QUOTE(horns @ Sep 21 2015, 10:51 AM) it's easier to just grab sata3 drives. sata3 drives are usually sata2 backward compatible. ahh ok thanks for the advice
