Am i considered as an undergraduate after taking SPM? What is the differences between undergraduate vs postgraduate? Also I'm a bit confuse about the tertiary studies, what if i take A-level,what's next? Taking a degree or choosing diploma courses? I don't really know what is the flow map of tertiary studies(the one after (SPM).

I don't really know what is the flow map of tertiary studies(the one after (SPM). If you want to become software engineer you either take A-lvl first then continue with degree in software eng or similar. Or you can take a diploma in IT first to see how it's like and if you still want cont pursing software eng you can cont degree. You can find a job with diploma heck even SPM also can but that's solely depends on you. Also with those results I dont see any reason for you not to pursue Software Eng.You can check at UTAR website or any college website regarding the software eng course. They will show you the study progression from pre-U to degree and beyond. You can take PTPTN as long you meet their requirements. |

Your are still a school student....you cannot enter uni with SPM....you need to do a pre u first....
An undergraduate refers to a post secondary school student enrolled in a degree programme... Generally, cert and diploma students are not called undergraduates.... |

Undergraduates are those undertaking a bachelor's degree course, and if you decided to pursue a master's or a phd later on after your dgree then you're a postgraduate. |

I don't really know what is the flow map of tertiary studies(the one after (SPM). Undergraduate students are bachelor degree holders. This means you are not considered.Postgrads are those with masters degree and/or PhD. Process of your tertiary studies are pre-u > undergrad > postgrad. Pre-U e.g. Form 6, Cambridge A-Level, Edexcel A-Level, AUSMAT, SAM... A computer programming (assume: computing/computer science/information technology) requirement is most probably several credits and passes. You have met its requirement, even a whole load more than that. Some unis want credit on maths to pursue IT major, you meet the requirement too. You are qualified in a lot of courses. A diploma cert can get you employed. However, it's not recommended to stop at diploma since job scope is narrow and limited wage. Go for a bachelors degree and/or higher. And if you enter diploma course and finish it, and pursue a degree, the degree course length is deducted by one year (first year), as the 1st year modules and subjects are very similar to the second half of diploma.
