I've just read that whey protein is alkaline food. Is that true?

Due to health reason, i'm not advisable to take highly acidic food. If whey protein is not alkaline food, any supplement is?

Thanks.

Don't look into supplement until you started workout. Eat more healthy food. Calculate your calorie intake.

Yes, i've been working out in Nov 2012 then injured my wrist on Dec. Stop work out in Jan then start intensity back from end of Feb until now.

March has been working out on whole body strength. Now Focusing on upper body. Hit the gym on mon, wed, friday.

Tried to consume as much as protein i can on healthy food with some carbs. My metabolism is quite high i believe. From the scale is 1400+.

Bicep/triceps are showing result on cutting not much on size. Now trying to build firm chest & increasing my size of upper body.

So i wonder will whey protein helps in increasing muscle slowing and is it really alkaline food? I'm not targetting bulk size. Now 173+cm 61+kg.

High metabolism for those athletic body. If you eat enough but doesn't show much result means your workout wasn't intense enough.
I've almost same stat as you last year. Now was 172cm 70kg bf 15%. My calorie intake currently was 3k.
Whey protein would boost your growth if your solid food & macro nutrients in check.
