I've been following this thread for a while coz I've been having this problem for oh, the past 15 years of my life cry.gif

I've tried a LOT of things to gain weight, from eating until I can't eat anymore to eating specific kinds of foods (a lot), to taking weight gain... and nothing works.
So in my quest to gain this elusive weight, I've joined a gym (as recommended in some of the replies). It's one of those near PWTC. To sidetrack a little, I took my sis and her daughter there coz there was this smart kids fair going on (yesterday) and we were stopped by this bunch of mascots that looked like germs. They took one look at me and my sis and gave us both an MC, with my 4-year-old niece looking on with glee.
Apparently, we "adults" weren't fit enough. And Little Miss 4-year-old got a sticker for passing the fitness test. haha. sigh. Just goes to show that things were so much easier when we were kids. No worries about weight and all.

I thought it was an interesting bit of publicity though, whatever they were doing (I think they were promoting Sustagen milk or something), coz it reminded me that sometimes you dont have to get complicated to stay fit...

For kids anyways tongue.gif

so are you progressing or still the same? mind to share your experience?

Sadly, I haven't progressed at all. Experience? hmm... I've tried periods where I ate several meals a day, I've tried eating 2 BIG meals a day for a month, I've tried eating carbs, I've tried eating meat, ice-cream, cheesy stuff... only thing I noticed is that some of that stuff isn't too good for my skin. Plus it doesn't exactly make me fit.

And any weight I gain can be lost within a day of not sleeping (I kid you not sad.gif ) So while it takes ages to put on 5lbs, it takes only one night of pulling in overtime at work to lose 2lbs. It's not even water loss, I think my bones actually become more prominent... Is that even possible? Sigh.

And rubixmania, if there were a promotion where they had huge juicy burgers (free of course tongue.gif ) rolling down the street, I'd probably be that skinny chick running after it. Maybe I should just start taking sustagen huh? biggrin.gif I mean, if it works for kids... haha. j/k

But thanks for the dates, I might just take my niece there blush.gif
