I'm one of those people with low appetite and it's hard for me to actually eat like 6 times a day. I made a homemade calorie shake and drink it throughout the day, I got like 2000kcal from it another 500-700cal from eating some meals throughout a day.

no need 6 times but i want to train myself to eat more and increase my own appetite

Gainer is a waste of money yeah better make your own calorie shake with those that you mentioned. But whey is good source of protein if you're like me, have low appetite. Since all you need is just to drink it. Maybe if you work out more the excess calorie will be used to build muscle instead of stored as fat.
