QUOTE(King83 @ Aug 24 2007, 11:46 AM) weight gain is actually an overpriced protein powder + dextrose (glucolin). Thanks for the info buy whey and glucolin separately and mix urself cheaper. btw, you don't need supplements to gain weight. The keyword here is "consistent"... eat consistently here. I am willing to bet most you guys here having this problem don't eat consistently. You either skip breakfast or the other. Eating 1 big ass meal for lunch and little or no meal for dinner or bfast doesn't count. Eating 3 big ass meals for only 2 days only won't work either. In fact, eating big ass meals is bad for you. Spread your meals to small meals and eat 6 times a day, followed by some weight lifting and cardio (yes, cardio).. do it CONSISTENTLY, i can't stress this enough, then you'll gain some nice lean figure. IMHO wait also..eat consistently is like.. eat the Whey + Glucolin for 6 times per day? or just whtever food only ? My height is 175Cm and i'm only 54 kg =.="" |

QUOTE(DDSFan8 @ Aug 26 2007, 11:01 PM) Skinny boys like me got super high metabolic rate. That is why, we need to drink Weight Gain milk after every meal to balance the metabolism lor. King wrote that weight gain is an OVERPRICED thing....buying whey and glucolin individually and mix them up together will give same supplements as weight gain..at a much cheaper price too... 1 question to ask! example of breakfast is like when? i wake at 6...den if i din eat a lot eat a bittttttt only....den at around 10a.m during tea break..only i eat a lot..den continue on with lunch and so on. so my question is..is the tea break breakfast thingy considered as breakfast ? or the instant i wake up at 6...dat is my real breakfast |

QUOTE(aad_lfcfn @ Oct 19 2007, 10:28 PM) Hi guys, please comment on my daily diet/workout. I eat 5 meals everyday and do push up (wide hands push up that enhance overall major body parts, not specific one) . I also have started drinking cow milk again since I abandoned it when I was in primary one..before/ after sleep..Now i'm 16 years old male with 167cm height, 52-53kg and about 18 BMI..Since it is low, I really want to increase my weight to look like NORMAL people.. Thought i'm still a newbie..but i have certain things to comment about for my current knowledge..Several things I wanna ask about push up... Is it safe for me to do 200 push up per day? (4 times -> before breakfast, afternoon, evening, night) 1 time consist 5 sets of 10 push ups)..Saturday and Sunday will be my rest day.. I'm attempting to achieve 3-4kgs within this four months..meaning that next year, my weight should hopefully increase from 52kg to 60kg.. Is that goal realistic? Also, how many glasses of milk I should drink everyday? 2 glasses per day are enough bro? 1st...5 meals a day is cool.. for a 16 years old...no nid rush rush in gaining weight. You know most guys before age 21, all look like stick..but after age 21..after puberty confirm over then only they start automatically grow proper meat,or muscle if u are building. Age 16...no nid worry on being skinny lar... i hope... And...body builders as i know dont work out EVERYDAY..... they work out 2-3 times per week... 200 push ups every weekday? Wow.... i'll feel it is not adviceable lor.... whole day like dat ur body may not yet replace its nutrient already nid to use again. Ok the milk part, how much milk you should drink? People say eat 1 gram of protein per pound of ur body weight..so u see the milk.. Example, marigold low fat milk gives 5 gram protein per 100ml consumption, so u count lar how many grams or ML u should drink. Milk powder also, example Anlene GOLD gives 33 gram protein per 100 gram of powder consume..so u go count also lor By the way, I think i'm worst then u, i'm 16 years old with 56 KG and 176 cm height only..and i'm seriously finding ways of gaining also..but they say age also a factor..so..like dat lor This post has been edited by Jaroque: Oct 19 2007, 11:08 PM |

QUOTE(bata @ Oct 20 2007, 04:02 AM) why limit yourself to only push ups? the thing is..we are not NORMAl people... there's so many bodyweight resistance training try goggle it, jump squats, pull ups, Hindu push-ups, BW dips to name a few, oh ya, 1 gram per pound of bodyweight if for 'normal' ppl to survive for active ppl try 1.5 - 2 grams Chow also may I know the amount of protein chicken meat gives? or whatever meat gives..i dont know if i reached the ammount of protein needed or not. Whey is just toooooo exp for me to afford... |

QUOTE(bata @ Feb 10 2008, 08:24 PM) True Mass > On 100% Whey. Brother Bata, why? you need more calories to gain weight, WG provide you the easy way to gain ADDITIONAL calories on top of your real food notice that it is additional only, means you still need real food Chow Meaning If I want to build my body, I will be better of with Weight Gainers rather than Whey protein like ON's ? |
