QUOTE(adele123 @ Feb 23 2017, 08:18 AM) any example you can provide? Else it's very vague. Like Nomad, btw currency changes doesnt make any difference as you being charged USD and coverage also USD. Our worry if the accident.getting it from Malaysia companies should be easier and cheaper, after all, foreign exchange rate does play a part. https://www.worldnomads.com/travel-insurance/ |

Credit Card Insurance vs Purchase Travel Insurance. I have this maybank visa platinum and which has limited coverage compare to stand alone, not sure about the accident related coverage on hospitalisation though the tittle is Travel Accident Insurance. As the table below didnt mention about hospital converage.
SCHEDULE OF BENEFITS (Etiqa Takaful- Maybank Card) I Death – occurring within twelve calendar months of bodily injury RM2,000,000.00 II Total and Irrecoverable Loss of Sight of Both Eyes RM2,000,000.00 III Total and Irrecoverable Loss of Sight of One Eye RM2,000,000.00 IV Loss of Two Limbs RM2,000,000.00 V Loss of One Limb RM2,000,000.00 VI Total and Irrecoverable Loss of Sight of One Eye and Loss of One Limb 0 RM2,000,000.00 VII Permanent Total Disablement (other than Total Loss of One or Both Eyes or Loss of Limb) So they dont cover medical expense? |

QUOTE(touristking @ Apr 1 2019, 03:57 PM) I think the answer is Yes with qualification. So what the purpose of limit world-wide, and its critical must do it in aussie, or must return do it in Aussie? For example. You have a heart attack and treating you cost RM 100K in Malaysia. Since you are in Australia and it cost A$ 200k, the insurance company will still only give you RM 100K compensation or A$ 30K. The balance A$ 170K you have to pay yourself. Sorry this is refferin to not travel.insurance rite? This post has been edited by sdin3269: May 14 2019, 02:28 PM |
