Hi, I need to get travel insurance that covers loss or damaged smart phone. Any recommendations ?

Hi there travellers!

My parents purchased a travel insurance policy for a trip. Due to unforeseen circumstances, they've had to extend their stay overseas. We'd like to have coverage for that extended portion of their travel.

Does anyone know if there are any insurance companies that offer travel coverage which can be purchased after journey has begun as is the case here?
